Clean and Tidy TGIF July 13

Yikes, I just realized it's Friday the 13th! Actually, I don't think it matters at all, but I know some folks get worked up. Relax all, it's just a day!

So, I wasn't stressed about the pretzels the other day, it was the graham crackers that got me! Yesterday, the tortilla chips cornered me and demanded attention. How could I refuse? Here's yesterday

B- oatmealw/raspberries
S - orange
L - mixed veggies, tomatoes and carrots w/balsamic ving
S - none
D - chicken and mixed veggies(different veggies thatn lunch), lotsa grapes
S - those damn tortilla chips, apple

Today we are having cake at work as a coworker is leaving. I will have a sliver. I'll be good the rest of the day.

Kate, what did you put in your oats? They do have a different texture than the regular stuff. I add vanilla soymilk, artifical sweetener, and whatever fruit I may have.

Beavs, nice job! Where did you and Tammy go for dinner?

Hi Phyllis (and everyone else!). Tammy and I went to a little cafe nearby and had some slightly unclean food but it was all good. I ordered a "turtle bar" for dessert and only ate half of it which it was quite small. I took the other half to go and ended up throwing it out. I was so proud of myself. I have a terrible, terrible sweet tooth. I even gave up all sugar for a few weeks and it never ended my cravings or love of it so I decided to embrace it...in moderation.

So today........
Pre w/o snack: 4oz skim milk, half protein bar (I can't w/o on an empty belly)
Bfast: Kashi with skim milk and tea with cream and sugar
lunch: tilapia and veggies
snack: unsweetened applesauce
dinner: whole wheat pasta with spaghetti sauce...and a BEER!

To all who follow, have a great day. I will bbl and Phyllis, enjoy the dang tortillas ;-)

Liquids ~ 30 oz water, cup of coffee

Breakfast ~ Oatmeal w/ 1 T. wheat germ, 1 T. NM PB, 1/2 c. cott. cheese, cinnamon, and 1/2 c. blueberries; 1 boiled egg white

No real plan for the rest of the day other than to eat clean! ;-)

Up at 4am again, butts and guts...now that's love, only for Cathe can i get up at 4am!!
Jess, good luck today, for me, i'm not an 'only eat just one' kinda person, so i try to sub similar things, like cherries or grapes, works sometimes, but if you want chips, no holding back sometimes!!
Beavs, rockin as always, if you can eat a sliver, koudous girl, cause i have no control, its unfortunately all or nothing, but i'm getting better for sure.
Phyllis, another sliver person!! I cant compete :) Have fun.
Today, usual with diet, will do Imax 3 when i get home. DH has a bachelor party out of town tonight, so i'm alone while he's with strippers i guess!

Hi Pyllis,Beavs,Jess and all who follow,

Well I ate clean yesterday just need to watch my portion control. I had a handfull of trail mix (raw nuts and dried fruit) but the handfull kept happening all day.:eek:

Today I will stay away from it.

B:3/4 cup whole grain cereal,1/2cup skim,1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/2banana
S: ?
L:chicken breast, spinach salad on Flax flat bread and 1 Tbl. plain fage yogurt
S: ?
D: not clean probably pizza and salad
S: not sure if I will have one

No workout this morning. I worked late and was to tierd to get up.

I had to confess I got terribly hungry and ate a package of Famous Amos cookies. After scarfing them down I looked a the calories and through "Zoiks!" That will be my slip up for the day (I feel your pain Stephanie). If my SO eats something decadent in front of me this evening I shall hit him upside the noggin! ;-)

Happy Friday (13th)!
Hope you're all having a clean day. I'm hoping I won't give in to my sweet tooth later today--ususlly I get the munchies around 4:00 or so. Anyway, yesterday wasn't bad at all as far as eating, and I did Pyramid Upper Body. I didn't get up in time to work out this morning, so I'm hoping I can fit it in later--maybe Imax 2 or another good cardio. We'll be gone on vacation this Sunday through Friday, so I'll try to work out while staying in the hotel. My DH will bring his laptop for me to do a Cathe workout or two, but I'm not sure how much space I'll have in a hotel room--with three young kids around, too!! Any recommendations of which couple of dvd's to bring along,with minimal equipment? Thanks, and I'll check in tomorrow and maybe Sunday morning before I leave. Have a great day!

When I take trips I bring Kick, Punch, Crunch and KickMax with me. No equipment is necessary and you get a great workout. While on vacation I tend to eat a bit more freely thee come in handy to step up the cardio.

Also, I like iTrain and Cardio Coach for workouts on the treadmill or elliptical if you have access. I use iTrain for walking workout around the campground.
BTW, I look really funny kickboxing while staring at a laptop in front of a camper but it's worth it ;-)
 
Didn't have time for an AM snack, on a cleaning binge around here! :lol:

Lunch ~ WW tortilla w/ Laughing cow light cheese, chicken tenderloins, and kidney beans topped w/ salsa; plum

Snack ~ Warmed cinnamon apple topped w/ vanilla yogurt & 1/2 c. Kashi GoLean

At least 60 more oz of water. ;-)

As for DVD's to take while travelig, ITA w/ KPC (and legs & glutes is on there, if you take your ankle weights you can do the 20 min ankle weights premix). Or KickMax also, those are the 2 that I take to my Mom's when we travel. CoreMax is a good one if you just want a good 20 min ab workout. HTH!
 
Thanks, Beavs, for the workout suggestions! I'm going to take KPC and KM with me, plus maybe I'll bring my resistance band along. Have a great weekend!
