Clean and Tidy July 5th

Morning ladies!

I haven't been around much lately because I have NOT been clean and tidy. The weekend was atrocious. I'm trying to get back on the wagon now. It's so hard when you fall off though!

Today:

B - the usual cereal and banana
S - apple and natural pb
L - large salad with protein
S - yogurt, granola and berries
D - not sure - my SO is home today so he will probably cook something

Workout is a 5 mile run.

Shelley - All I have to say is WOW, girl! Your pond is going to be spectacular. I wouldn't worry about your eating as I'm sure all that work took care of any extra calories consumed.

Well, last night was even more of a disaster than the day, but I'm moving on. I am a bit pressed for time so I only did the Cardio Fusion All Step premix this am...at least it ws something. I also have a riding marathon today and bowling tonight so hopefully that will minimize some of the damage I did yesterday.

B - spinach, mushroom and egg white omelette, steel cut oats with blueberries
S - plain yogurt with blackcaps
L - salad, egg whites with guac, banana
S - half a sweet potato
D - Asian turkey burger, grilled balsamic veggies, smashed cauliflower
NO DESSERT...not even the traditional vanilla cone after bowlingx(!

Today started well with granola for breakfast, but I opted to skip my mid-morning snack and just keep cleaning out my office. So I was starved by lunch time. While nuking my healthy soup, I snacked on yesterday's leftover chips and queso. Yikes!

Then I met a friend for tea this afternoon to have a good last visit before I leave. Again skipped my snack and drank 2 1/2 cups of Africa masala chai (yummy, but full of milk and sugar).

Supper will be baked chicken, potatoes, green beans, and carrots. Hopefully I can be relatively healthy with that. Skip the butter on the potatoes!!

I think I've already got my 8 glasses of water in, so I'm feeling good about that part of things.

Thanks for being there so we can keep each other on track!

Snack - cherries
Lunch - Nat. PB & J on WW, carrots, fruit salad
Dinner - Grilled halibut, green beans

My house if full of baked goods - cherry pie, cake, choc chip cookies. I wish I hated to bake. Double sigh.
Today's workout is IMAX 2.
 
Good Morning! Glad to have everyone back this week, very cool.
Yesterday wasn't too bad, did have a few glasses of vino last night while watching two stupid movies with my DH. I love Eddie Murphy, but Norbitt was just bad, really, really bad.:-( But other than that, my food intake was good. I cooked up some Ezekiel sprouted grain pasta, I was skeptical at first, but ended loving it! I tossed it with some of that fake butter spray, a little salt and pepper, broccoli, baby carrots and cauliflower-very good.

I discovered the joys of Kashi Go Lean cereal in the AM, which is what I will eat today. Who got me on this kick anyway? It is the first cold cereal I have found that fills me up with one bowl.:9

The rest of the day will be egg white omelette with spinach, lowfat cheese and one ww tortilla
Not sure about the rest of the day, we are going out to dinner with friends so not sure.
Not sure about the workouts today, am really busy. But I did the iClimb for the elliptical yesterday, boy, a great workout in 40 minutes, I felt so great afterwards. Then it was GS chest and triceps. So today I will try and fit in either cardio or GS back, shoulders, biceps and some abs tossed in!

Robin--reading your posts always puts me in a happy mood. :) I had a cranky last couple of hours and logged on to see if I could cheer myself up. You did!
