circuits only?

are there any of you who just do circuit types of workouts and have gotten excellent results from them? i've seen body split workoutsa and full body but what about circuits? if so how often do you do them?
 
I have tried a 6 week rotation of circuits. I found it fun, and liked doing them, but I find I get better muscle build from more concentrated gym-style work-outs. I cannot speak to the cardio benefits, because my cardiovascular system is extremely strong from swimming. So I cannot tell if that improved.

Why don't you try it for 4 weeks and see. It does not hurt to experiment with your work-outs and try different things.
 
I've always been intrigued by the thought of doing a circuit rotation but was never quite sure how to make it work. I would not want to do a full body circuit every day ofcourse so I thought about just alternating upper and lower using premixes, etc. I know some folks' circuit rotations are comprised of full body circuit work outs alternated with cardio only and that is alot more cardio then I'd want to do.

Any other ideas out there?
