Circuit Max revisited!!!

I totally forgot how hard this workout was!! It felt harder than the Terminater circuit workouts for me.I really thought I was going to die by the time I reached the last step portion. Forget about the push ups at the end..I ended up doing like one or 2!! I am going to have to incorporate this workout into my routine more often. This one ranks up with MIC in intensity IMO. Anyone else feel that this one is really tough or am I a circuit weenie??

IMHO C-Max is still the toughest, and the standard-bearer, of Cathe's circuit workouts. I do it with barbell squat and lunge resistance cycles (as opposed to the dumbbell compound-movement cycles as produced) and throw in the Cardio Kicks power drill at the end at least twice a month (in fact, it's on deck for tonight). If I don't do it at least that often I get the heebie-jeebies, AND I lose a bit of my cardiovascular fitness.

Yes. I love this workout. I really like Cathe's Hi/Low. Well, Cathe really doesn't do low impact when she does floor aerobics now, does she? I love her Hi floor aerobics. CK, SJP, MIC-floor sections are the best! I laugh in MIC after doing plyo jumps, when she says something like, "time to go into high impact." CM goes so quickly too. It isn't repititious at all. Yep, it's a keeper.:7
 
Oh yeah - that one's brutal. I haven't done it in a couple months, but the last time I did I was like, "whoa baby!"
 
I got this for Christmas and did Circuit Max for the first time today.
I am in love with this workout!!
I felt like I could do it again once it was over!

The only bad thing is that dvd skips real bad :( Guess I have to send it back.
 
Aila I love this workout! I just did this a couple of weeks ago and like you, forgot how tough it was! I love that way its choreographed and I think its just plain fun! :) :)

Jes, it's a circuit workout with cardio and weights with 6 circuits. The first two cardios are hi/lo and then then the next two are kickbox, and then the last two are step. It is a really great and fun workout! :)

Edited to add: I think the first kickbox is on the floor and then 2nd one is on the step.

It's really good isn't it? It totally wipes me out. I keep wishing it was chaptered so I could start with the step first and get it over with. I was laughing at one rotation where she wanted me to do CMax + Step and Interval Cardio. Oh yeah...like I'd still be alive after?

I know what you mean!! I always do MIC's step portion first and it seems a lot more doable doing the workout this way. I love having the convenience of a well chapted DVD.

I love Circuit Max! I'm interested that some of you think it's harder than the Terminators --- I don't have the Terminator workouts. I love circuit workouts -- I'd like to hear others compare CM with the Terminators. Are they as fun?
