Christi Taylor Step Intensity?

I got a steal of a deal on a bunch of Christi Taylor workouts and am trying to decide which step workout to do tomorrow. In your opinion which is the most intense.....Step Heaven, Still Steppin' or Totally Cool Step? I also got Totally Hot Cardio and Hi/Lo Heaven, any comments on any of these workouts are also appreciated. I know I should preview but....I never do:p TIA!

Hello Laurie,

Where did you buy these? Was it from a shop or on line? I am thinking of ordering some, but need them to be posted to Canada. If you bought them on line maybe I can order some too.

Christi's step is not as intense as Cathe, but WAY more complex. It's a lot of fun and you will build up a sweat. That being said, I have honestly only tried Step Heaven so far. My favorites are Hi Lo Heaven and Totally Hot Cardio. Not Step, but my favorites.

Hey Yen:) I got them through a VHS clearance at CK Sales, 99 cents each:eek: I think the promo is over but you can check it out at CKsales.com. I'm in Kingston Ontario.

Personally I think Step Heaven is probably the toughest, and that is due to the complexity and the length of the workout. I think the step sections are each 25 minutes long, not including the warm up. I never do the sculpting section, I just do the cool down on the small screen.

For overall harder workout value I would rate them this way -

Hardest to Easiest-

9801
Heavenly Series
Hi/lo Happy Hour
Stepping Zone
Just for Fun Series
Solid Gold Series
Totally Series
Cardio Collectibles

I don't count the Functional fitness workouts or her intermediate workouts...

Hi Laurie,

I like Christi Taylor and have found her to be very responsive to emails, etc. She also promotes Christian values. That may be a turn off for some people, but as a Christian, I like that.

She also loves animals and has several Chihuahua dogs.

I think she is a good person.

I have tried her workouts and they are just too hard for me to follow choreography wise.

I have had years of dance training, but I just can't catch on to her style.

I don't know if she is a trained dancer or not, but her choreography and queing (sp.) does not work for me.

I still have Hi/Low Heaven on VHS, but when Christi begins to up the intensity, I am lost. The music is great in Christi's videos.

I had some step DVDs by Christi and I sold them. Even when she showed the steps very slowly and from the perspective of the viewer, I just got frustrated.

I probably could finally figure her choreography out, but I really did not want to put the effort into learning.

I find that her older workouts are harder (intensity wise) than her newer ones. That being said, I did order her new workouts (presale) so I hope they are like her older ones. I find her workouts to be fun and a nice change every once in a while from Cathe - opps did I say that?????
