:-jumpy :-jumpy :-jumpy :-jumpy :-jumpy It's that time of the week, all you baking divas out there in cyber land!!!

One box devil's food cake mix
1-21 oz. can cheery pie filling
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer until batter is very thick and smooth. Pour into a 13"X9" cake pan which has been sprayed with a "Pam" like product. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. While cake is cooling, make glaze:

1 C. sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Place first 3 ingredients in a sauce pan and cook over medium-low heat , stirring constantly, and bring to a full boil. Cool for an additional 1 minute, and remove pan from heat. Add chocolate chips, and stir until mixture is smooth, and chips are melted.

Pour over warm cake. That's it!! This is from "The Cake Mix Doctor." I've been getting my money's worth out of this book!!!

Hi HB!
I have made a very similar cake before and it is absolutely delicious - very moist. When I make it, though, I just put chocolate chips on the top of the cake when it comes out of the oven and spread the chocolate when it melts on the cake.
Certainly makes me "cheery"!! :)
