****CHINUPS, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE****

Nice workout Catherine. Sorry about the DVD player, things like that really frustrate me too. I once made the mistake of praying for patience. A couple days later I got behind a student driver whose top speed was 40 and it kept dropping from there. Then after leaving one store got stuck in a traffic jam heading to the grocery store. Than in the grocery store got stuck in the check out line that didn't move for over fifteen minutes. Finally another clerk opened and I got in her line, but at the end she needed an override so then I had to wait for a manager. In the mean time my kids had to use the bathroom so my DM took DD and son went on his own (he's 6). Just as I finish checking out saw DM go by on her way to the car. (By this time in the other line the person behind the people that were checking out when I got in that line had just finished) Anyway, I head out of the store assuming kids are with DM, get out there and she has only DD. Okay panic mode!! Go running back to store and the store has one entrance door which leads to a foyer than another single door before entering the store. Don't you know I get stuck behind a ninety year old man pushing his cart moving about 4 inches at a time. It was all I could do not to body check him to get to DS.
Good news is DS was still in the bathroom and was fine. But I definitely learned my lesson about never asking for patience again.
 
Linda, they say careful what you pray for :D I seriously felt so silly after all was said and done :eek:

Hey, how's your shoulder doing? Mine is acting a bit quirky. I really think mine don't like over head pressing. There seems to be this tight/ache in the front of the shoulders with this move. Esp the left one. I am going a bit lighter and it's better, but still there :mad:

I am a little upset that shoulder did not like the arm movements in the cardio today. No pain just an ache.:( Anyway, did Amy's ASC 3 through to the combined 3 & 4. Wanted to go longer but had to get up early and took me a little extra time to feel ready to workout, so I got in 60 minutes.

Catherine - Sorry you are having shoulder trouble too. It really stinks because shoulders are involved in everything!!! I really think I did a number on mine, this is by far my worse injury.:( Well, the knee was pretty bad too and look, I have been able to go running outside. Never thought I would run again, just have to remind myself how long it took to get that far! Still afraid to run on the TM again though. :eek:
 
Linda, I hate to hear that about your shoulder :confused: Be careful!!

Mine is really minor and I am being very cautious with it. I really think it's the overhead moves that are bothering it. I am either going really light or not doing them at all.

I am supposed to do 4ds kb with legs first this evening, but I am a bit nauseated and may take a rest day.
 
Thanks Linda! Actually, it was a weird day. Nausea this morning and then felt better. Then after lunch I developed a headache. I think because I couldn't drink my coffee in the morning. So after coffee and a couple of ibuprofen I was better.

I did w/o 4ds kb with legs first. But I did stability ball abs from B&Gs instead of kb abs.
 
Hello ladies!! Planning chinups and SZ this evening. So far today no ailments LOL!!! I don't know what was going on yesterday, but I am glad it didn't hang around :confused:

8/8/8 - 115# **went to parallel***
One Arm OHP
8/8/8 - 25's **count was up 2, hold 2 and lower 4***

Superset B
Reverse Lunges
6/6/6 - 42 1/2's **up a total of 5#**
BSS
12/12/12 - 27 1/2's **again up a total of 5#**

Superset C
One Legged SB Hamstring Curls
8/8/8
Spiderman climbs
12/12/12

Then out side to run wind sprints at a 30/90 ratio for 6 rounds, which wasn't easy on legs that were tired.

Linda, nice job on those squats!!! When you do one arm OHP do you alternate arms or do a complete set/arm and then do the other?
 
Wasn't feeling the love on my workout this evening. Did SZ and weighted chinups.

Chinups 10# 4 3/4, 4 3/4, 4,4 &4 and also did 8 assisted with my lightest band. Last week I did 5 sets of 5 with 10# :( Guess I am having an off week LOL!!
 
We all definitely have those. Don't be to hard on yourself though, because I couldn't do that many chins with 10# on a great day as you did on an OFF day!!:eek::p

Nope no yard sales in my future.:D This morning I did BM2 Cardio Blast Premix adding the bonus cardio on the end to make workout a solid 60 minutes.

I just found out my cousin passed away this morning. It was expected, he's been fighting cancer for six months, just feeling sad at the moment.
 
Linda, so sorry to hear about your cousin ((HUGS))

Today was a rest day for me. It seems sort of trivial to report in light of Linda's loss :(
 
Catherine, you don't know how hard it was for me not to post in that stupid "posting rules" thread on the OD. I just wanted to tell them it was so silly to be wasting so much time being petty and in the grand scheme none of that matters!!!

6/6 - 31's **Picked up the 35's first to try and the shoulder said "no way in he77 am I pushing that up" so compromised at the 31 w/ up 4, down 8 count***
Rear delt flyes
10/10/10 - 6's **Woo-hoo up 1# :p, count was up 6,down 6***

Superset B
One Arm DB Row
6/6/6 - 53# **up 1#***
DB Floor Press
8/8/8 - 36's **up 1#, count was up 4, hold 2, down 4***

Superset C
Lying Tricep Extensions
8/8/8 - 20's *** This stinks because at 20 right arm barely feels worked, left arm is struggling. Did extra sets for left***
Incline Bicep Curls
8/8/8 - 24's **up 1/2#:eek::p:eek:**

The ran suicides at 30/90 ratio for 6 rounds.
 
Linda, nice w/o!!!! I am always amazed at your numbers. Those incline curls are murder aren't they!! Keep doing those extra sets on the triceps. It really worked for me.

I did my upper body w/o this morning and followed up with All Step from CTX.

Bench:
85# 10/8/8 (2 more reps 1 set)
Lat Raise:
12# 10/10/8/8 (still avoiding OHP)
Skull Crushers:
22.5# 9/8/8 (1 more rep 1 set)
DB Row:
45# 8/8/8 (supersetted these with SC /focused on going slower with same wt)
Concentration Curls:
30# 6/6/4 dropped to 27.5# 6/6

Just had a cheat meal lunch and now I am ready for a nap :confused:




 

Wow, I have DOMS in my upper back today. I can not tell you when's the last time that happened. It must have been doing those DB rows with a bit more focus!! I didn't do any pullups yesterday :( Was too busy to add them in later.

Today will be leg-woohoo!! I have to psyche myself up for legs!!
