(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

Linda- I'm sorry to hear your shoulder is still bothering you. I wonder if it is your rotator cuff.....since you mentioned that doing the pour flyes hurt. That move really bothers the shoulder that I had surgery on. Three years since the surgery and I still cannot do reverse flyes as my shoulder grinds and pinches horribly in that position. I just sub posterior delt raises. Are you almost done with your projects? It has been crazy here with shopping and getting ready for Xmas which I'm hosting this year.

Catherine- How are you doing? I'm thinking about you and praying things get better soon. Have you scheduled your surgery yet? Remember, if you need to vent, cry, yell, whine or just talk, we are here for you:)

Today was the second week of GS Chest & Triceps. I was able to complete all the push-ups again on my toes with no extra breaks. HOWEVER, I do place my balance disc under my chest to make sure I don't go below 90 degrees which becomes problematic for my shoulder. So I'm not going as deep as Cathe but heck...we can't have it all;)

Still plugging away on the weight loss but have stalled with only 3 pounds left to go. I just can't shed them:mad: Oh well, I guess I should be happy with the 12 pounds lost.

Judi - Way to go on the weight loss! Wish I could get my act together! Congrats on the pushups again. And I believe Catherine already had her surgery last week, I think Thursday or Friday. I am waiting to hear an update from her.
Oh and I am sure my rotator cuff is messed up and probably everytjing else in there too, which is why I refuse to go get an MRI as I am afraid of what they will find.:p

Linda- Let me know if you hear anything from Catherine. I hope she is doing well.

I won't scold you about your shoulder BUT take it from someone who ignored the pain and ended up with a torn cuff.....you would be much better off getting some physical therapy now to avoid further damage and potential surgery. I'd just hate to see you go through what I did. OK, off my soapbox ;)

Judi - Both my Mom & DH had rotator cuff surgery, which is probably why I am so scared for anyone to look at it.:p I pm'd Beavs this morning to see if she had heard from Catherine. She replied that last heard Catherine was doing okay and resting comfortably.

Woke up this morning feeling like I wanted to throw up (no I am not pregnant) which made the idea of doing PLYO X unimaginable. But I did it anyway.:p Of course I didn't give it my all and at about the 40 minute mark I really wanted to be done, but I stuck with it. According to my HRM I burned 832 calories (I wish). BTW, my stomach is feeling okay now.

Oh, and I still have Christmas stuff to catch up on, but my biggest project which was the Children's Christmas Show at my Church is now over. I was involved with the music & choreography, the drama and actually had a part in the play, and I was in charge of building the stage which required building a mall. We just did two store but had a whole group of people sign up to help but in honesty it truly came down to me and one other woman who really did all the work. It was nuts!

Linda- I think rotator cuff issues must be hereditary because my dad had both shoulders done and 2 brothers had one repaired. My mom has had frozen shoulder a couple times but in her case it was from inactivity. Lets just hope your shoulder gets better!

Glad to hear your big project is over....sounds like it was really time consuming.

I joined you with the upset tummy this morning. We took DS out for dinner last night for his 22nd birthday and the combination of German beer and food wreaked havoc on my system. I made it though Powerstrike 5 but felt that puke factor a few times:confused:

A quick hello to say I'm doing ok. Still confined to bed mostly. Should be more mobile later this week. I miss you all tons!!!

{{{Catherine}}}

Thanks for checking in. We've been thinking of you and have missed you too! Glad to hear you are doing OK. Take care:)

Catherine - So great to hear from you! Have been thinking of you often! Nice to know you are hanging in there!

Judi - Nice to see you check in as well. I am sure you are probably busy just like me, with Christmas coming.

Well, I am still following P90X except I did not do Kenpo X on Saturday as I had a horrible night with my shoulders. Worried that the X is killing my shoulders. Anyway not sure if I can continue with the X tomorrow as I have had a very severe pain in my left lat area for the past 18 hours. Guess I have to wait to see what tomorrow brings.

In all honesty, I feel like a mess right now. A lot of the shoulder exercises hurt this morning. The pushups made my wrists hurt. And my back did okay, except Throw the Bomb bother it a bit, but I still feel the residual tenderness. I ended up lowering the weights or staying the same and on some my rep numbers dropped.

Boy, what a whiner, huh?

So here's my Chest, Shoulders & Triceps:

***I love this one, too. This time I made sure the arms never touched the floor, what a burn!

Linda- FWIW, I had trouble with my shoulders during P90X mainly because of all the push-ups. Still, I am concerned about you! Maybe you should take a break and rest them. If that doesn't help, you should see a sports med or ortho to make sure you don't have anything worse going on. Hugs!

Catherine- Hope you are resting comfortably and on your way to a speedy recovery. Thinking of you!!

I have hit a plateau with my weight loss:mad: I can't seem to drop these last few pounds! I started another round of BBC to kick my @ss in gear but nothing yet. Maybe I just need to be happy with where I am at.

BTW, got my Shock Cardio dvd's this morning!! Can't wait to start previewing them.

Judi
- Guess I haven't been to concerned about my shoulder because all that I am experiencing has been fixed by my massage therapist before, now if I could just ever get to see him. On a side note, just came from the grocery store and while there, as I reach overhead for something pain shot through my shoulder and is now reoccurring depending how I move it.:(

And sorry about the stalled weight loss! I wish I could just get my eating back under control. I manage it for a few days then always manage to fall off the wagon again.

Catherine
- Hope you are recovered enough to enjoy your Christmas and New Years. About 13 years ago DH had back surgery right before Christmas and was unable to travel Christmas Day, so I invited all my family to my house for Christmas Day so the day wouldn't seem so empty for him. THat tradition has now stood every year for the past 13 years. Crazy hoe things get started.

Today I did part of Plyo X. Only part as I got up late and didn't have time to finish. But that was okay with me as I am getting bored with Plyo X.

Edited to add: Judi- I am jealous! As my Shock Cardio has not arrived yet!

Judi, let us know how you like SC. I got mine today too but all I can do is preview

Linda, I sure hope your shoulder gets better :(

I will not be able to travel Christmas. I am not allowed in a car till my Dr's appointment on the 30th. I'm ok with that though!

ETA: I've lost almost 10 pounds since surgery. Really didn't want to lose that way :(

Catherine - That is a tough way to lose ten pounds! Happy to here from you!

Judi - How's it going?
