(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

Linda, nice workout  I knew you'd be excited about the 40/20 :p

Judi, so sorry about DH :( How frustrating  Good job doing Yoga X.

I don't know where I found the energy but I just finished CCV4 on the TM. I can not really do all out sprints but I did job a bit and it felt ok on the foot. I only hope I can walk tomorrow after doing STS legs and CC on the same day

Should we start a new thread or just keep going with this one?

I am officially done with 2 weeks of Meso 1. This morning was disc 2 Back and Biceps. I was able to eek out 4 chinups on the first set followed by 8 with the band. Second set was 1  and 9 with band. Pull ups were 5 with band and 5 horizontal rows (like Cathe does them).

PP will have to wait till tomorrow

Happy Halloween Ladies!!

Happy Halloween!!!

RIP--My 1st generation iPod:(

Was all set to do CCPP, hopped on the TM, turned on my iPod and got NOTHING! It was fully charged so I tried resetting it and still none of my music or playlists were there. Luckily I had burned CCPP to a CD so I popped that into the Bose and started running.

I wasn't feeling 100% (wonky stomach) so I took it a little slower and figured my extra challenge was just being able to finish the workout:confused: Logged in 6.1 miles and burned 519 calories.

Catherine- Great job completing two weeks of Meso 1. Doesn't matter to me if we start a new thread or not. I just go to the last page and scroll down so no big deal.

Judi, I never thought about iPod failure  Maybe I should get a spare just incase :p WTG on pushing through it. I will be doing it tomorrow :D

Well, I probably should mention that when I did CCV7 earlier this week, I caught my headphone wire causing them to whip off my head and my iPod to go flying onto the floor. It still worked after so I finished my workout then charged it. That wasn't the first time it has tumbled onto the floor:eek: but I think this time it must have damaged the hard drive. Now I just have to decide if I want a Nano, Touch or a newer version of what I had. OH...if I could only get an iPhone but I have Sprint and at least 1 1/2 years left on my contract.

CCPP is done!! I did it on my stationary 15 miles. It seems no matter how hard I try it always ends up 15 miles  I was sweating though.

Linda, I know you weren't feeling well I hope you are ok

Judi, what's on tap for today?

Started Barry's Bootcamp today and all I can say is he is the most annoying instructor I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. BUT the workout was like Cathe Plyo's on steroids!! I consider myself in pretty good cardio shape but I was truly humbled:eek: Basically it was HIIT with 1 minute intervals and no rest in between. For example: squat-jump up onto a 10" step landing in a deep squat and jump down again landing in a deep squat for a minute straight....my legs were of fire. Lunges off the 10" step but done fast like Cathe's straddle taps then move onto terminators (or burpee's as he calls them) jump in the air do a squat thrust to pushup jump back and jump up in the air...repeat. There are plenty more and when you are done, you do it all over again:confused:

This disc had tris, bis, and abs. The highest weight I grabbed was 10# as he does endless reps and lots of holds.....OUCH!! If this doesn't shock my body nothing will:confused:

Catherine- Nice job on CCPP.....15 miles is great! How did your foot hold up?

BTW, I picked up an iPod Touch yesterday and think it is the coolest techno gadget I have ever owned. Makes me seriously want an iPhone!

Linda- How are you doing?

Judi, Barry sounds tough. I agree that should shock your body after STS

My foot does ok with the stationary. I think tomorrow I'll try step again. Just not sure which one.

Today was STS disc 4. Brutal is all that comes to mind  My chest is already sore from all of the pushups

Linda, I hope you are doing ok!

Hello ladies!! I did Imax 2 on the step only today. Foot seems to do ok with that. I have some discomfort but not as bad as it was. So I'll take that for now. I modify a bit to take some of the impact out of some of the moves.

Judi, how's the day after BBC??

Linda, you are officially MIA!! I hope you are ok. Check in when you can.

Catherine- I'm surprised I have no DOMS today:) I did day 2 HIIT cardio plus legs and it was tough but do-able. Great job on Imax2...glad your foot wasn't too bad. How is STS going?

Linda- Thinking about you! Hope all is well...check in when you get a chance.

Hey, I am here, finally! Everything is okay I just had some projects that absolutely had to get done, so I put my nose to the grind stone and basically haven't looked up until they were done! (Well, actually I have one more to finish.

I have not felt like working out at all this week. Don't know if it's the time change, needing a rest or what but I am dragging myself out of bed. So I have done the smart thing and lowered the weight that I have been using some, until I find my motivation again.

On a bright note on Saturday I did my first Turbo Jam, it was fun but would have been better if I could have turned up the volume (DH was sleeping).

Catherine and Judy - I have read your posts and you two have been busy, great job on CCPP both of you. I will be back to do more personals, but right now I really have to finish that other project!:p

Hey, I am still in project mode. I feel the need to get things off my list.

I was completely exhausted and sore from yesterday's projects, which included scooping at least 200# of wet leaves out of the pool, then wrestling two covers over it and also transplanting 9 rather large bushes. So I wanted something easy and no imopact. So I choose Tracey's Walking Strong. It was fun and I could not believe how much I was sweating-it was worse than when I do plyo. Unfortunately, my HRM died in the middle of it and now won't come back. I am wondering if it's possible it got sweat in it. Now I don't know what I am gonna do. I really don't have money for a new one. Anyway, workout was 52 minutes and the treadmill says I burned about 440 calories.

Today was day 4 of BBC with HIIT cardio followed by shoulders, back & abs. The cardio has gotten much less intense as the week has progressed and I now think that the first one with Barrry is seriously the hardest.

There was a cool move in the workout today that I had never done before. You are in a pushup position with your hands on dumbbells. You do a pushup then at the top, you do a row with one arm. It was really a burner.

Linda- Nice to see you back. Hope you are getting through all your projects. UGH about the leaves in the pool.....been there-done that!

Catherine- Was today the day you were getting the scope test? Hope everything went OK.

Hello ladies. Yesterday was my scope. The doc said there was a lot of damage to my esophagus. I am assuming from reflux. He took several biopsies and changed my medicine. I slept off and on most of the day yesterday. He told me I could resume normal activities today. Of course I asked if that including lifting wts and he said yes.

So this morning was disc 5 Back & Triceps. Well, I totally sucked on the chinups and pullups. But I did what I could. Pretty much everything else was ok and I was able to increase to 65% with no problem. At least I get another shot at it next week :p I actually like doing each week over before moving on.

Linda, you are getting quite a workout with just all of your projects

Judi, I've seen that move somewhere before but can not say I've ever done it. Sounds tough!!

Catherine - Happy to hear the test went okay. Hope all the final results are good! I don't think I could do a 6 month STS rotation, I was done with each week when it was over.

Judy - Those are Renegade Rows and I love them! Sorry I never answered your HR question. Is it still elevated? I find my HR varys all the time. At times it's high and through the roof, next it will be impossible to elevate no matter how hard I work. And then of course there is my average. I also know other women on this board who are extremely fit and still have really high HR, like 180 in normal and common for them.

I think I am getting sick. My throat is a little sore, my nose burns and I am a little headachey. Kids are off today so I stayed in bed, then did not want to workout. Took an hour to talk myself into doing something, so I did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster. Workout was 30 minutes and I burned 200 calories. Going to a Town Dance with DH tonight so I'll burn some more there.:)

Shhhhhh Linda don't mention 6 month rotation!! In my brain I am doing a 2 week rotation of each week of STS. That I can handle LOL!!! :p

Sorry you are not feeling well :( I hope it's not the flu. Have fun dancing tonight!!

Hey Ladies-

No workout for me today as I had a million errands and lots of prep work to get ready for the baby shower I'm hosting for my niece-in-law tomorrow. I'm so excited to see both her and my nephew...he is an air force captain and just returned from 5 months in Iraq. They live in Nebraska so we don't get to see them as often as we'd like. I'm hoping to get in the last disc of BBC which is a total body W/O in the morning since the shower isn't until 4:00.

Catherine- I'm glad your scope went well and hope your new meds help with your tummy. I didn't know you are doing a 2 week rotation of each STS disc;) Good for you!!

Linda- Stay well and have fun at the dance. I wish my DH would dance but after our first attempt at dance lessons, we decided if we wanted to stay married, we would just have to sit on the sidelines. Basically, he has no rhythm:confused:

This morning was disc 6 legs and I tweaked my back a little  Not sure how. It's always something isn't it :p I did some extra stretching and will continue to baby it.

Judi, I hope the shower goes well. How sweet that you are hosting it. Good luck with BBC!!

Linda, are you lost in a pile of leaves???

Morning! The baby shower went great and everyone had a good time. I even got to workout in the morning-doing BBC full body disc. Wow, did my pushups stink:mad: I guess it was the one minute of tricep dips going right into one minute of pushups that did it! I only got in 10 on my toes and had to drop to my knees for the next ten then went back to my toes. UGH! At least I got in 20 declines later on. Anyhoo, I thought I'd post a pic of the diaper cake we made for the shower.

No workout today as I'm pretty wiped out from the long day yesterday! Have a great Sunday:)
