(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

Well, all I can say is WTH?!! I did Meso 1 disc 1 this morning and still struggled on a number of the exercises. I thought my strength was supposed to increase but I lifted at 60% of my previous 1RM and it was still hard! My pushup numbers are the same too. GRRR:mad: Does it ever get any easier? OK enough whining...

Catherine- At least Cooper doesn't mind getting the ointment in his eyes so that makes it easier. They are less goopy today so that is a good sign. Are you getting excited for the RT?

Linda- GS pushups before disc 4??! You are my workout hero!

No, no, no. I am nobody's hero. Disc 4 starts out with drop sets of pushups just like GS does, just not as many. So since I don't have Disc 4, but do have GS and had it in I did the pushups with Cathe BUT same sets and reps that are listed for Disc 4.

Ahhh, got it! Still, GS pushups are tough;)

Hey gals!! I am in a mood this week. I didn't w/o yesterday due to a headache. I'm not working out today, just because I don't want to

I am getting excited about the RT, but there's a bit of a damper on the excitement due to the foot :( I will still have fun though!!

Judi, I find doing those high reps at 60% tough. Even though Meso 3 is tough, it is more suited to me with higher wt and fewer reps. So I wouldn't worry about it ;)

Linda, you are my hero still- so there :p

Got DOMS?? Yep, I do! From under my armpit to mid chest...OUCH! I have cardio on tap today and thinking of a CC on the elliptical.

BTW, I mapped out my bike ride on Monday and found I went 18.5 miles in 90 minutes...not bad;)

Catherine- Thinking of you and hoping your "mood" lifts soon.

Linda- Whatcha got planned for today?

Today was Meso1 Disc2 and it went better than expected. I could only do 2 unassisted chinups but finished sets of 12 & 10 band assist chinups and 10 band assist pullups. I'll get there! Then I finished up with med ball abs.

BTW, I used 12's for my crossbody kickbacks:eek: I think I could do 15's but not at 15 reps.

What's up with you ladies today?

I can't even say that Judi- 21 pounds on cross body kickback :eek:

Hey I can't even say it, remember I did fail with the 21's. :p

Yesterday my computer was attacked by a virsus and is now acting all funky, so now I must reload EVERYTHING from scratch. So I maybe missing for a day or two.

Anyway, this morning I did Imax 2 and abs. I did abs first doing two sets of SB jackknifes and two set of SB rollouts. Workout was 59 minutes and I burned 487 calories.

BTW, got some great DOMS in my tris.:D:D:D

Slowly getting my computer back together. Have internet and email, what more could I want.

I did Meso 1 Disc 6 Legs today. Unfortunately I don't have my Excel up so I can't copy all the exercises over and post stats. But I had a great workout, think I was going a bit too slow though. Workout was 1:05 and burned 507 calories.

Morning-

I am supposed to do M1D3 today but I'm pretty sore from going all out with Bento's ITR yesterday and adding on some heavy bag work. I'll do it tomorrow.

Linda- I finally caved and bought Amy's Kickbox Surge yesterday. There has just been too many threads about how great it is and since we have no idea what is going on with STS cardio, I figured I needed it....right?!

Catherine- Haven't heard from you for a couple days. Everything OK? How was your foot after doing disc 6?

Hey ladies. This morning I did 4ds shoulders (I did biceps/tricpes yesterday). I followed that up with Lauren's total body sculpting kb dvd. I modified some moves. I also FF through the rests because I was going for a cardio effect.

Linda, sorry about your computer. How are you liking STS?

Judi, I don't blame you for delaying your w/o. You'll get a better w/o if you are less sore. My foot was pretty sore after disc 6. I modified a fair bit. I wish I could figure out what specific exercises aggravate it

WooHoo, Judi! I think you are going to love it!!!:D:D:D:D

- I like STS, my butt really hurts today.:p I like the fact that right now you only do one set of an exercise, but I wil be happy to move on from 15 reps. Endurance work has never been my favorite.

This morning I did Drill Max Scambled Cardio premix and 2 sets of hanging knee raises really fighting the negative. Workout was 55 minutes and I burned 444 calories.

Linda, I hear ya on the endurance thing  But Meso 1 was the only phase I was able to complete the leg work on and I was seeing some changes in the legs.

I think I pulled my groin today. I have no idea how. It's become increasingly sore through the day. Tomorrow is CC on the bike, so I should be ok to do that. I'd like to get in some abs and chinups too someday

I cringe when I think that I have two more weeks of endurance to go. Sure hope your groin is okay.

PP is done! And man was it tough. I was able to increase my resistance from what I had been using. My legs were on fire. I think doing KBs yesterday added to that

Hey do you guys know if the rep counts on the Workout Sheets are sometimes wrong? Like Disc 7 lists Barbell Curls (Exercise #178) for 10 reps, but the video for #178 is Barbell Curls but done 21 style = 7 halfway up, 7 halfway down & 7 full.
