Wow, my whole post just disappeared. Boy am I mad!:mad:

I decided to go back to TT for December due to the shorter workouts and that I am looking puffy so I need the extra cardio to burn off some fat!:( This time I am doing TT for Abs

Superset A
DB Bulgarian Split Squat
8/8/8 - 25's
Spiderman Pushups
10 per side x 3

Superset B
Inverted Rows
12/12/12
1 Legged Deadlifts
12/12/12 - 12's
***The deadlift is baically a 1 legged squat holding one leg in the air behind you***

Superset C
SB Roll outs
10/10/10
SB Mountain Climbers
10/10/10 **Really felt these in my abs:D***
Straight arm Side Plank
20 sec hold x 3

Then interval cardio at a 30/90 using Drill 5 from Drill Max. That drill is easier when you insert 90 sec rests:p.

- I thought maybe the 15# might be nice for ab workouts. I have a few of those from Amy Banto that use a KB. Didn't order it yet. If it's still on sale it was only $22. Which I thought was pretty good.

I didn't w/o yesterday and doubt I will today. My pelvic pain is back (endometriosis) :confused: I think I am gonna take a few days off and rest. I hate it because my 16 Kg kb is supposed to arrive to day and I really want to swing that darn thing. I will do some stretching for sure.

Catherine, sorry you are not feeling well. Sure hope the pain eases soon. I did order the 20# KB, but not the 15#...yet. Have to see if it is still on sale.:D
 
Hey Linda!! Just a quick hi. Hope you are doing ok.

I am still resting. Feeling some better, but will take today off too. I will be going to the funeral home after work anyway. A good friend's mom passed :( I hope to get back to things tomorrow :eek:

Did Amy's Step Challenge 3 through to combo 5, took about 55 minutes. Eating calorie wise has been okay today, but I am sitting her munching on cereal. The extra carbs I do not need. Does it count that at least it is whole grain cereal?

Went and interviewed my client this morning to get more info on program design, now all I need is her doc's release form and I should be good to go!:D
 
Today was mainly a body weight workout. Which is yet another good resaon to lose weight:p

10/10/10 to each side ***these are were at the top you turn and lift your arm to the ceiling***

Chin Ups w/ Knee Raise
6/6/6 ***was suppose to be 8/8/8***
Reaching Lunge

10/10 - 5's on each leg ***Here you stand on one leg and kind of squat while reaching forward with the opposite hand as you can***

Superset C
SB Jackknife

X-Body Mountain Climbers
10/10/10 per side
Side Plank w/ leg Raise
10/10/10 per side

then interval cardio at a 60/60 ratio using Powerups from Amy's ASC 1.

Well, I didn't get back to it today :( This morning I over slept by 35 mins and the day was downhill from there. I will do something tomorrow, I promise:eek:
 
I have a 20# KB in my hot little hands.:D:D And a 15# on the way!:D:D:D So could you recommend a DVD to start playing around with?
 
Linda!! I am so excited for you and your new toys!! I only have Lauren Brooks dvd and I really like it. It has a full tutorial with instruction on every exercise, a short 10-12 min w/o and a 40 min w/o. I think it's good for beginners. I am asking for Art of Strength Providence for Christmas. Also go to liftkettlebells.com they have lots of video clips of exercises there.
 
Fell back to sleep after the alarm went off this morning so was running short on time. So I did Amy's ASC 1 which is about 45 minutes and tough enough that it always leaves me feeling like I worked really hard.:D

Okay another KB question. I waited to long to order the 15# KB and missed out on the free shipping, unless I spent $50. Ssssooooo, I ordered both a 20 & a 15 figuring I would just return one of the 20's. But before I do that I thought I'd ask if you if perhaps at some point I might like having two KB's the same weight?
 
You might need 2 at some point. I know there are w/o that use 2. I am not much help there as I haven't gotten that far into it. I know Katie had me doing double KB swings one day, but I think it was with 8kg bells (about 17.6 pounds). So I think 20# would be doable.

Yes, Catherine, you must workout tonight. AND you must do some chins!:p I will not be stuck as the only person doing these!:p

BTW, Where did you get your Lauren Brooks DVD? I googled it and was surprised at how expensive even that one is.:eek:
 
Work out is done ahhhhhh!! I don't know what I was thinking saying above that I would do chins during my rest :eek: I was too busy gasping for air!! I used my new 16kg bell for the first two sets of swings, suitcase deadlifts and one armed row . Oh my!! Then I used my 12 kg bell for everything else. My butt is kicked!! I did one chinup just for you Linda LOL!!

I am leaving for a weekend away tomorrow afternoon. I hope to w/o in the morning. If I don't see ya, have a good weekend!!

Did 40 mins of RS this morning and 6 sets of 3 chinups. It was the best I could muster up.

I'll post this but don't know if you will see it before you return. First got an email from GNC, they are out of the 15# and have canceled it.:( Now I have a 20# on the way for no reason.:confused:

This morning's workout was really different. Again a lot of bodyweight exercises and while I am tired when I am done, I really do miss actually lifting something other than myself.

***Apparently I had an injury in my right glute that I was unaware of, because as soon as I started the step ups there was pain in my right side. Pretty sore now***
***For grasshopper pushups you take one leg and swing it under your body so that your left foot is near your right hand, then do a pushups, these were weird***

8/8 - 25's ***these are rows done in pushup position***
SB Leg Curl

Linda, I am sure you will find use for that second 20 pound kb. You could always use it as a door stop ;)

I hope you glute is ok. Any idea what you might have done to it?

I will be leaving in a little bit. I am taking KPC and 4ds for bc with me :eek: So hopefully I will get some w/o in this weekend!!

I have no idea what I did to my glute, it didn't even hurt until I tried the step ups:confused::confused: Then the pain was instantaneous, so it wasn't like I hurt doing the step up.

All these core moves is putting a lot of stress on my wrists and my carpal tunnel is getting brutal at night. I am really starting to consider having the surgery. Just hate the thought of not being able to work out.
