Chin-o-riffic

Catherine...what is P90X upperbody. Is it the new P90X+ workouts? Or do you put all the upperbody together from the original P90X - (I can't even imagine you doing this so it must be the former).

I did shoulders and arms this morning (P90X). I'm going to do something tonight, but haven't decided yet. Probably something leg/cardio.

Marcy...I confess to doing NO yoga the other day. It was a nice idea, but worked out instead of Yoga. (not that yoga isn't a workout!!!! It's just that yoga isn't a workout:p :p :p KIDDING!!)

I better shut up now!!

Briee (hey joanne!!!! We're getting more snow tomorrow and are planning another snowboard day - BUT with the windchill temps predicted VERY low - I may stay home and watch little ones) WINTER GOES ONx( x( x( ;)

No chinups today. I hope to do some tomorrow. Today I did heavy legs. I did squats 100# 5 sets of 5 reps (last week did 3 sets of 5 and 2 sets of 4) Romanian DLs 125# (up 5#) 5x5 Calf raises 130# (up 10#) 3x15. 130# on the back was HEAVY!!! I didn't do the bulgarian squats that I normally do. Not sure I could balance with one foot back on the step  Suprisingly, the 100# felt easier (not easy, but easier). Next week I will up the wt on the squats a little. I am really enjoying the squat rack!!!

We have had lots of rain here this winter and very little snow. Which I think is a blessing. But some here say they would love to have a good snow. That would be fine if everyone could just stay home for the day :D

No chins today, my shoulders are sore from yesterday. I did LL and forgot to add that I did heavy squats yesterday. Not as heavy as yours Catherine. I did 3 sets of 8 with a 90# bar. YES the squat rack is WONDERFUL!! (I need to finish the ab workout from the new P90X+).

Going snowboarding in 1 hour and the snow is coming down thick right now!!! I think my legs might fall off tonight after a LL morning followed by snowboarding.

Waves to all, and Catherine - your weights are amazing. I've dropped back. I'm scared to try chins as I'm sure I've dropped in numbersx( x( x( .

Briee, you are gonna need a wheel chair tomorrow :+ 3x8 with 90# is great for squats. How low do you squat? I go just a little past parallel. Some go ATG (a$$ to grass) but I don't go that low. I am so glad I got my squat rack. My goal is to squat my body wt. That was 120# but now it's 128  I seriously think that's part of my chinup problem. 8 more pounds is a lot to pull up LOL!!

I wonder what Joanne and Marcy are up to this weekend?

Oooooh it is soooo cold here. Right now it is -19 without the wind chill.

Today, I will work upper body. Not sure yet which one I will do.

Marcy-My sister does belly dancing. I went to watch her perfom last November. It was a great show. They had a couple of professional dancers there - very cool. That is neat that you are taking lessons.

Hi Briee and Catherine.

Have a nice Sunday!
Joanne

Did C&W step only and did segments 2&3 twice to lengthen the w/o. Also did shoulder width pullups 5 sets of 2. I have really lost ground on these. I was doing a few sets of 4. Just goes to show you how practice makes perfect ;)

Joanne, brrrrrrrr!!! I am cold just thinking about that. We had 50 degree weather yesterday and now today's high is in the 20s. That is hard on a body

I hope you all are doing ok and doing your chins :+
