Good Evening Cheetahs!
So the doc's office actually took us lickety split today! We were in and out of there in 30 minutes which is usually unheard of! Good news: he doesn't have pneumonia. Bad news: He has bronchitis instead. Oh joy! LOL No school tmrw which means no gym (centergy class) for me. Oh well. I still have Legs n Glutes on tap though so I won't be resting! LOL
Linda: Sorry you can't see. I've never been through that but I've heard people complain about it. Hope it wears off soon.
Posh: I don't plan to take a long break from running. It'll probably only be for the 4 weeks it takes me to complete the rotation I just started. After that I'll start picking it up again. I just need a change of pace for a little while.
Shelly: So you think you can complete a marathon at a 10 minute/mile pace? You rock!!! I couldn't even do the 18 at that pace! I can do 10 miles at that pace though so I guess I'm doin' alright. LOL So what do you think? Will you be joining me for the NJ marathon or will I see you in the crowd cheering me on in the last 6 miles when I all I wanna do is die?
Jackie: Wow, I haven't pulled out Amy's Slo Mo in ages. Only did each work out once actually since I've had it. Perhaps I'll have to consider giving it a go again once I finish the rotation I am doing now. I recall the leg work being killer!
Christine: IA the bells are awesome for lower body. That reminds me, I have a new bell vid I've never tried!
Carole: So did you enjoy your version of PLB legs? I have to do PUB as produced and PLB floor work in a few days. I have a feeling I am going to sore for 4 weeks straight with this rotation! I am sore from MM y'day and have L&G tmrw! So how is John? Is he still in rehab? I hope he's recovering well.
Judy: There are a few foundations that support runners for charity. Do some research, I'm sure you'll find something in your area. I recently heard of one that raises money for sick kids. I think it's called Team Hole in the Wall or something like that. It's an odd name I know. Not sure if it's focus i cancer or not but I know it's all about kids. I think that would be a great one if they are local to you.
Cathy: Thanks for your thoughts. TNT will not start with any support until atleast January I think so I am on my own until then. I will re-read the marathon portion of the one book I have. I also have several old issues of RW that I can page through for info. I am down playing the running for a month simply because I fear if I don't change my focus for a little while that I'll lose motivation and I don't want that to happen. Once I am done with this rotation I will increase my running again. Time goal for a marathon? Simply to finish before the 6 hour time limit is up.
Okay, I'm all caught up. I started this post about 2 hours but dinner got in the way of finishing it in any kind of timely manner. LOL
Gotta go pick up DS' med. I've decided to nix yoga class tonightl. I will take Centergy on Saturday morning instead.
BBL!
