:::CHEETAHS:::Tuesday

Hey Ladies. I'm finally back...

My new ITread is fantastic! What a great butt-whooper in just 30 mins!}(

Marcia: Have fun baking that cake for your DH's Birthday today! How is he choosing to spend his day?

Amy: Good run this morning girl. BTW, yes, I was very proud of you for getting your picture trail up and running. ;) Now you need to add more pictures so get crackin'!:7

Cathy: Yes, as you can see above, I certainly DID try out of my new ITrains today! Did you doubt that I would? :p And tomorrow I will probably give a new ISculpt a go as well. :) So how's the classroom coming along?

Kristi: It was nice to read about you. I had no idea what you did for a living and now I do! I am happy to hear that you love your job! That's wonderful and not neccessarily all too common. :)

Christine: If I were your friend and lived through an earthquake in Hawaii the first time I went to visit, I surely would not go back!!!! I hope all will be okay with him. Weather can be a nasty demon, not to be taken lightly. Sorry that Jimmy can't actually run the race with you but I'm sure he'll have a blast during the training. :+

Carole: What's with the scrapple? Am I missing something? LOL So perhaps aside from a few Ultras you would also need a shot or 2 to get you out on the floor with our dancing friend? ;) Thanks for the compliment. You are very kind and I am blushing once again. :+ The jeans I had on saturday night are pretty new and I bought them for myself as a "reward" for losing weight and getting in shape. I don't own another pair of jeans that are NEARLY as low cut! They gave Cathy and I a few good laughs as well. I TM'd her on the ride down that I was wearing slutty jeans. She asked what made them slutty and before you know it we were laughing about @ssless chaps! It was pretty funny.:7 :7 :7

Laurie: Great compliment you received y'day and you certainly deserve it! You look fantastic!

Jackie: Glad to hear that you liked the ISculpt Freebie. I will try it out soon. I LOVED the new Itread I got!}(

Laura: Sorry about the panic attacks. That stinks. I hope they stay at bay now for a nice looong time. You have a great son there btw! How nice of him to stay with you until you felt better. :)

Shelly: LOL, that pic you posted of Carole is priceless! So cute! I love it! :7 Thanks re: my progress. I am very pleased with myself. I am sure I could be further along with my distance running if I had decided to concentrate on it more but I let it drop off once I hit 5 miles in order to concentrate on other things. That's okay...I'm sure to get it in now!}( You have a killer work out planned for today. Have fun! And the one you did to work off the jetlag probably would have killed me! LOL

Gayle: So tell us about the culinary creations you made with your countless tomatoes?? :+

Cathy---I've got a quick question. Where did you customize the Cheetah shirts????? I'm looking around zazzle.com, but I'm curious where you did 'ours'? I've never made a shirt online, and I have NO idea if I use one of their designs or if I have to submit one of my own to make? I want to make shirts for my relay team for our Relay Marathon next month.

THANKS!

Gayle

Good afternoon ladies,
I am finally checking in after a crazy morning of unpacking and getting my house back in order. I took the girls to the park for some running around and they are content finally, now so I can post.

My luggage arrived at midnight last night. I really should not complain, because it was so worth it and some people really had horrible traveling experiences on this trip. I am one of the lucky ones:)

I did not get a chance to workout yesterday, but today I am going to hop on the elliptical and then do Muscle max upper body.

I will post some of my roadtrip pics in a day or two after my life gets back to normal. My father is coming to vist from Illinois on Thursday, so I am trying to get ready for him as well. It will be weird and sad seeing him by himself and not with my mom. I thought a lot about her on the roadtrip. She would have loved to hear all about it. She was always so amazed at how much I enjoyed working out.

Christine, Happy belated B-day. I wish you could have celebrated it on the roadtrip. We thought of you though:)

Ladies, I so wish I had more time to do personals, but I have to vacuum and dust and do a million things in order to be ready for my dad coming.

I will try to post in the morning and do some personals.

Susan

Scrapple? I HATE Scrapple. My dad and sister absolutely love it though... Definitely an East Coast - (PA/MD/NJ) thing

Hi Ladies,
Well I got my 5 mile run in and I feel much more relaxed. I need to get some sleep since my husband and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary tomorrow. I do not think it would be good to fall asleep at a fancy restaurant:).

Wendy- What is Itrain?

For all of you- How do you work in your Cathe tapes with running?
Do you do any of her rotations? I haven't done one yet because I'm not sure how to do it.

Also how do you all remember what everyone has said and comment to everybody:)? I can't seem to keep what everybody says straight.

Maybe as I get to know you all it will be easier, it's fun learning about you all.

How long have you all been a group on here?

Sorry I am riddling you with so many questions:).

Laura

Sorry this is too short my Cheetah buds!

I am so tired now - worked 10 hours with crazy kids! They have too much energy - I can't keep up sometimes! Love them, but boy I need to sleep now!!!!!

Then I had a nice pizza dinner with some teacher friends! I ate bad! :(
Will work it off tomorrow though!

I hope you all had a great day (it seems so after reading your posts!!!!)

Happy Anniversary Laura! Glad you are enjoying the forum!

Goodnight my dears! Will catch up tomorrow!

Amy :)

Hey Laura, welcome to the Cheetahs:) Congrats on your anniversary tomorrow, hope it's a great day for you and hubby:) I hear you about the sleep though, it's bloomin' 1:20 a.m. and here I am...I'll be sleeping face down in my soup tomorrow for sure:D

I run 2 or 3x/week and get my Cathe cardio in on non running days. I like doing the standing or floor work of Cathe's Lowerbody workouts after 1 run each week and one full Lowerbody workout through the week.
I've never done a rotation but you just pick one you like and dive on in:) I'm pretty sure that if you proposed a check-in on a particular rotation you would get some interest.

As for the comments, after I've opened the message/response screen, I just use the 'back' button to check the thread the 'forward' to get back to my response. Don't be surprised if you go forward and see the response box empty, just hit forward again and it should be there. Sometimes I'll just open up another window with the thread in it, minimize it and just go back and forth between the two to read and respond.

I joined the group a year ago May when I was training for a half and it was a few months old at that point. I love this group!:* It really is fun getting to know each other, it amazes me how often I think about the women that I have met here, sure would like to meet some Cheetahs someday:)

Take Care
Laurie
