Hi Cheetahs.

I'm back. Had a great weekend but I have a "hangover". Not from the alcohol, though I did drink quite a bit ;) but from the massive amounts of "bad" food I ate and the hours I kept. I could have stayed in bed another 2 hours ATLEAST this morning. I'm a total grog-head and have to be in work in just over an hour. ACK!x(

Cathy: OMG your internet is down! YIKES! I feel for you! I hope it's back up and running soon!!!!! Have a great work out today!

Wendy - Glad to hear you had a good time! Sorry about the hangover.

This weekend went well. The family and I just hang out at the house all weekend, with the exception of a graduation party on Saturday and taking DS to see Spiderman 3. I got all of my flower beds looking nice, finally. Also, I think I have almost everything completed so I can have a big yard sale on Saturday. All of the baby stuff, with the exception of DD's crib which she is still using, will be sold. I also have tons of toys to sell too. It really surprised me how much stuff my kids have. On Sunday I took DS to see Spiderman 3. The automated message said that movie would start at 1:30, however when we got there they said the next showing was 3:45. The attendant must have felt sorry for DS because he gave us our tickets free. (It must have been DS wearing his Spiderman shirt and carrying his Spiderman and Venom action figures that made him take pity on us.)

In anycase, it's back to normal today. I'm starting back with zigzagging my calories again. I need to lose about 20 pounds. I've been too lax for too long and my clothes are not fitting right or at all . :( Also, I'm starting to train/run again for my 10K on July 4th.

Hey guys. Back from the long weekend, I see! Glad we all made it (so far, anyway). lol

Kristi-I'm with you on that. I have been just downright ignorant to how badly I've been treating my body, and now that I took all my summer clothes out from last year, I'm limited to ELASTIC waist shorts. I refuse to buy the next size up just to wear zip/button shorts, so EAT CLEAN I WILL! I've got about 15 to lose (STILL).

Cathy-internet down.....what would we do without it? LOL

Wendy-hope the hangover subsides quickly. CHUG the water today, babe!

OK......taking my own advice, I'm downign water left and right. The weekend was AWESOME! I had a housefull of kids (BOYS, more specifically) all weekend. Friday night was a cook out, Saturday was a friend's gathering with all the kids then my boys each had a friend stay over that night. Sunday, each DS brought a friend and we hit the drive in theater for the first time to see Shrek 3 (Spiderman 3 was the double feature, but we were all tired from the night before), then yesterday was more friends and family for a cookout at my house after I took all the kids to the creek (pronounced CRICK, lol) to 'fish'. AWESOME WEEKEND!

Started of this week early today with Drill Max. Planning on starting to journal my food again to stay accountable.

This week, I'm cleaning out the house to get ready for Friday and Saturday's garage sale I'm having.

I posted last yesterday so I think I got caught up!

My ribs are not quite as sore today but I will still not do any ab work. I am thinking about GS shoulders and tri's, some legwork and 40 min on the EXT.

Carole - Glad the paint came out just like you wanted. Makes everything look so fresh and new. Will have to check out the Motion Based site. Glad the ribs are better.

Cathy - Hope your internet is not down long. Mine has been a PIA lately. Have a good workout!

Wendy - Welcome back! It will probably take you a few days to get all of that bad food out of your system. That happened to me when I went to Curacao in November. I ate too much crap for too many days and my system just couldn't handle it. Hope the feeling doesn't last too long for you.

Kristi - Sounds like you had a nice weekend. Glad the attendant felt pity for DS and you got free tickets. Did he enjoy the movie? Good luck with the training.

Gayle - Glad you had a fun weekend. Nice workout today!

I did Muscle Max Upper Body premix and tacked on abs this morning. Needed to give the legs a break! Felt good. I like that workout. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day…

Wendy – Details, Girlfriend! We need details – or is Atlantic City like Vegas? “What goes on in AC, stays in AC?” Sounds like you had fun. I hate food hangovers, but a day of clean eating will resolve that!

Kristi – wow! You were busy! Sounds like you had a successful weekend. I know what you mean about being back to normal. I’ve been good this weekend.

Gayle – Wow! Everyone is having a garage sale! Glad you had such an awesome weekend!

kristi- hope you make alot of $$ on your garage sale. last weekend i took ds#2's stuff to a store we have here that sells used kids items. it was bittersweet, they are just growing so fast.

christi- do you have flexible warrior from spinervals? i am interested in that yoga dvd. if so, i wanted to get your thoughts. enjoy your day.

gayle- you had an awesome weekend. nice!

this morning's workout was an itread. i forgot:eek: which #. it was a great 60 min run!!

alright, i am off to bake cupcakes for ds#1's kindergarten picnic tomorrow....:eek: :9 . i am only going to bake the exact amount needed for the children so i don't eat any, lol.
 
Sunny - no I haven't done Lexible Warrior. I've heard mixed reviews on it, but most seem to like it especially as there are 3 30 minute segments.

I just ordered Jari's RTTC and Iron Yoga. I'm really looking for more endurance based strength workouts and this one has gotten fab reviews. And Iron Yoga has always fascinated me.
 
Good Afternoon Cheetahs!

Well, I went to work this morning, came home and cleaned out my bedroom closet. All the while I was waiting for the desire to work out to hit me and it didn't until almost 3pm! ACK! I no longer had the time to do Tear It Up which is what was on tap so I did my own weight/band work out:

Mini upper body circuit done twice:
15 push ups on toes
3 pull ups (+ 2 extra pull ups at the end }( )
15 bicep curls
15 over head tricep presses
8 front/8 side shoulder raises

Then:
24 single/8 pulsing squats
32 deadlifts
36 standing/36 squatting fireburners total
24 plie squats
56 inner thigh lifts each leg
50 calf raises

Tonight I am probably going to go to the gym with DH and run. It's not on the schedule but I feel like I need it for many reasons.

Friday was my rest day but on saturday at the hotel I did Itread set 5/40 minutes plus my own full body work out using the bands and body weight exercises. Sunday & Monday I rested again.

No run tonight...DH irritated me over something stupid to the point where I ended up not wanting to go. x( x( x(
