:::: CHEETAHS :::: Thursday, 7.12

Hi Ladies.

Spin was kick butt as usual. I have decided not to do any upper body work today. I will just fit everything in before Monday when I go into the Pyramids again in order to complete the 4th/final week of this rotation. :) After that it's VACATION TIME!!!!:+

I think I am going to bring my Ipod on vacation with me and do the Itreads and IClimbs for cardio and a couple of ISculpts for resistance training. I am going to consider it a recovery week as ISculpt does not require any heavy lifting.

I just got my new sneaks today!:) I need to try 'em out before I use them in the race on saturday so I may grab a TM after my meeting at work today and run a mile just to make sure they feel okay...

Okay, I will be back later for personals!!! :7

HOLY COW - All of you WONDERFUL WOMEN are so incredibly inspiring to me in so many ways.

THANK YOU for being you!
Marcia.

Hey there, cheetahs :D

Kristi :: woo, you will be hitting the tri-fecta in August! That’ll be great. How is your new elliptical working out for you?

Amy :: oh, I meant National Board Certification for teaching…Are your plans to stay in teaching and be an instructor on the side?…Yes, you do absolutely need that Garmin! :D I would guess you probably did somewhere between 5-6 miles.

Marcia :: hope you feel better! How’s it going with the portioning and journaling?

Carole :: love that little coffee guy…the chiro is telling me I need to reduce my caffeine intake, and she asks me about it every time! I should have lied on the form. *lol*

Jackie :: wow, lookin’ mighty fly in that pic! You are one buff cheetah!

Jess :: congrats on completion of the X!! No reason at all to be nervous…You’ve busted butt and it’s gonna show, no doubt!

Shelly :: your sister & DH sure are brave…great that they love what they do!…Like Carole, I assumed you might be tied up with work, but then I started to worry that maybe something happ’d to your FIL. How’s he doing?

Susan :: glad you touched base w/ us…we’ve missed you…So sorry to hear your friend is fighting such a tough battle…Sorry, too, about the knee – hope the consultation with the sports med specialist helps you get that healed…We do need to figure out times for the airport arrival as I need to pick up the three of you in one run. I may need to arrange to swap cars w/ someone depending on the size of your luggage.

OK, I'm going to take all this certification material and start on the reading outside in the fresh air.

Enjoy your afternoon/evening!

Cathy - the portion size and journaling are going well, but today I am absolutely STARVING!!!!!!!!!! I could and would eat just about anything. I am going to go home after work and have a huge salad or a big container of steamed broccoli with spray butter and spices.:9

Marcia.

Just finished CTX biceps and 10 Min. Solutions RR Pilates Waist Slimmer segment.

Marcia :: it sounds as though rejoining WW has given you renewed determination...that's fantastic!...maybe we can help each other lick this eating thing (wrong pun, I know - sort of proves my food obsession, dudn't it? :p :))

Hi Cheetahs!

I did the first 30 mins of Yoga X. I just finished about 15 minutes ago. It felt great. I hadn't gotten to yoga since my last recovery week and that was about 3 weeks ago now! I was actually ready to do the upper body work I had blown off earlier but decided on yoga at the last minute and I'm glad that I did. My plan is to either do both GS upper body timesavers tomorrow along with abs OR take a complete rest day tomorrow and do that same routine on Sunday instead. I'll make that decision tomorrow. :)

Cathy: I have heard many a horror story about couples who are wishy-washy about leaving their babies with others and then it gets to the point that when they finally want to, they can't cause the kid won't hear of it! DH and I agreed that was NOT going to happen to us! That's just crazy! So I am alternating putting neosporin and hydrocortisone cream on my rash and they seem to be helping. Hopefully this will go away soon cause the tat is pretty much healed but looks ugly cause of the red lumpy bumpy skin around it!:-(

Amy: The rash is not gone but I think it's getting better so that's good atleast. My legs are sore from GS Legs and I took a spin class this morning! Can you say OH MY!!! LOL Needless to say I wasn't pushing as hard as I normally would in that class! When you get back from your honeymoon you must go buy yourself a garmin ASAP girl! Do you hear me!? LOL

Kristi: Wow, you really kicked it into high gear! Good for you! I hope the calorie staggering works for you. It worked wonders for me! So what kind of money bag are you falling into at the end of August? A garmin, a new TM and a laptop computer all being purchased at once!? You rock!!!!}( I just gave our laptop to a computer whiz friend of mine. It crashed when i was pregnant with Joey (who is now 2!!!) and we never got it fixed! DOH! I gave it to him to try and fix since it'll be cheaper that way. If he can't then I guess we'll have to pay someone. I'll just offer my friend dinner if he can fix it. :)

Marcia: I hope whatever was ailing you earlier today has passed. How did your TS party go? How is that venture going in general anyway? Successful?

Carole: I am not TOO bad about scratching BUT I am big on picking scabs...EEEEEWWWW-gross, isn't it!?...I know but they just drive me insane!!! So how was your Jari work out? I haven't heard much of the Cheetahs doin' Jari work outs lately. I haven't done one in AGES! I will have to pick her back up with my next round of endurance rotations!:)

Jackie: Loved the pic! Caught part of the time in there! Great job! So do you have any tats? Or any secret desires to get one? ;)

Jess: OMG I can't wait to see your pics and/or hear about your results! I'm sure you did fabulous! We have cable tv. My DH wouldn't hear of anything else! We don't have the all out pkg but we have a ton of channels and there is STILL nothing on when I actually feel like watching for a bit!x( As for Joey...We have a fair amount of kids movies for him and I tivo the Wiggles and the Doodlebops for him. I try not to let him watch too much tv during the day now that it's nice out but he will watch with DH in the evening since he is playing in the living room where DH watches tv.

Shelly: Oh how nice that you got to visit with your sister! How are they doing overseas? Are they happy? I can't imagine living over thre! My best friend was born there and moved here when she was little. She is a us citizen now but still goes back there to visit family. She tells me stories. It's such a drastically different way of life from what it's like here!

Susan: It's so nice to see you again! Take care of that knee and take care of your friend! Don't worry about us cheetahs! We are not disbanding anytime soon so even if you can't post regularly for quite some time we will still be here when you return!!!! I can't wait to meet you at the RT since I will be there "crashing" it!}(

Phew, that was a long round of personals! I think I'm caught up now though!:)

Hope everyone has a pleasant evening!
