Hey, Cheetahs!! Busy weekend for us!! Great job to Sunny & Jackie on their 5K's, what an awesome PR!! WTG, girls!!! Jackie, I always tend to go out too fast too, but for some reason it works for me. If I start out too slow it's harder for me to get my legs movin'!
I feel like a slug Cheetahs as I didn't run at ALL this week!! I'm counting it as more of a recovery week since I was sick. I still have some sinus probs, hope the cold hasn't turned to a sinus infection. But, of course, I managed to drop 2 lbs. Isn't that the way it goes? Sometimes I know I need to rest more and I slept in 3 days this week! Glad I listened to my body. And I was supposed to bike this morning, but my buddy Erin had to cancel on me so I went back to bed til 8! We were in a rush to get everyone out the door by 9 for church!
I did GS C & T y'day. I was VERY pleased as this was my first time doing it after the X. I was able to up my weights on everything & those pushups at the beginning didn't feel too tough at all! I'm glad that I got those 30 lb db's as I think I'll be ready for them w/ Cathe's new series! (yes, I preordered this time around, I learned my lesson last time!)
I had some DOMS in the glutes y'day from KPC that I did on Fri, good one! (it was the 82 min kickbox/ circuit w/ L & G + abs premix) Love that feeling!
