Hello again, cheetahs!
Class is done, and I’m trying to avoid panic mode as I am a little behind in the game at this point. *lol* But I've noticed I am getting really good at taking anything unpleasant and simply blocking it out of my mind. heh heh
I intended to hit the tanning booth afterward but forgot the lotion. Oh well. Tomorrow. For now, the plan is: eat something, clean, and then work out.
Lori :: do you get any mail from the States? If so, would you happen to know how much the postage is for a card or letter? I think it is 90 cents for overseas…I am definitely the queen of paranoia when it comes to posting things of a personal nature. *lol*
Jackie :: I thought it might be fun to open the gifts at the same time, but I don’t mind waiting, either. Maybe a few more will weigh in with opinions. Any way we do it will be fine by me.
Thanks for the info on the Nordic. I am going to buy it tomorrow. I wonder…would the box fit in the trunk of a Crown Vic or do you need a trunk?…So tomorrow is the series finale for you! Best of luck!!!
Judy :: thanks for your ETX input – much appreciated to get feedback from sources I trust. iFit is some little chip you can stick in the ETX, and it gives you a customized workout – sort of like the iTreads, I guess.
Wendy :: COMPLETELY understand not wanting to post anything too sensitive to the thread…maybe we can be a welcome distraction for you while you work through things…And definitely do not feel bad about the personals. Sometimes they are do-able and sometimes they are not, but you’re an integral part of our group and we absolutely want to hear from you. No pressure there whatsoever!…Good for you eating out and only getting a salad. I’ve been eating inconsistently for a month now (time has flown!).
Carole :: Many thanks to you, Jackie, Judy, and Sunny for the EXT advice. Very grateful. I’m going with the strider. I am glad it turns out Sears carries them. I just wonder if I can borrow my father’s big-boat car to get it home, or if I’ll need to get my cousin’s truck. My dad is going to put it together for me. Do you think it’s better to have the pro’s assemble it? If it’s too much of a hassle, I don’t want to burden him with it. Enjoy your KB/leg mish-mosh. That is sounding good.
Christine :: Poor DD18. That's gotta sting. How is she enjoying her first semester of college, BTW?…*lol* about possibly being hung over on the 15th. (Whoever has Christine, send a Bloody Mary and some aspirin in her package.) Can’t wait til you try HSC to see what you think…OK, now I’m feeling guilty for my BOSU splurge. I hope it’s not a waste.
Shelly :: darn that ankle…but it sounds like the conservative choice was a wise one…I had class today for the National Board cert thing I’m doing (or not doing). *lol* about the phrase “cold weather weenie.” :7 I will *definitely* work out today, I promise!!!
Susan :: enjoy your do-nothing day! Those are so refreshing and much-needed now and then…I was absolutely mortified that my phone called you in the middle of the night. Thank God you didn’t hear it.
BBL, chickadees! :7 :7 :7
ETA: Sunny :: I started out on the 40 last January...they moved me up to 60 the next month...and then back down to 40 b/c it was a bit too much. The total course of treatment ran from mid-to-end January through August. In June and July, I did 60 - I think 20 mg in the AM and 40 in the evening. Since my cholesterol stayed relatively low, I was able to not get the last two blood tests. One less hoop to jump through...that was nice. I noticed improvement quickly, but I would say my skin started to look really good by about the third month in. I saw a "before" shot from last December and shuddered. It has made a world of difference. I feel like I have (close to) my 22-year-old skin back.
