RE: ::: CHEETAHS ::: run for the hill of it on hump day...

Good evening ladies!

Again, I'm going to be (hopefully) short on time in the morning. I really want to get a nice 5 or 6 mile run in...hopefully the rain will hold off. If I'm really lucky I could actually end up with a couple of easy days. Rain means no riding which means short day at work...YAY!

Lorie - Wow, that was quite a run for your first time back! You are so right about us sometimes being our worst critics...that is me to a "T" and something I really need to work on.

Christine - It was rainy and chilly here, too, and guess what I'm sitting here eating for dinner...some turkey and black bean chili I made a couple of days ago :9! Great minds?? It sounds like you had a great workout...I LOVE BM2 and CF! I love your outlook regarding at least getting out there to exercise when most do not...I will try to think of that more often because it is so true. I'm in the same boat with lack of daylight. That, plus all of the acorns, leaves, etc already on the roads, PLUS rain could be kind of dangerous for me.

Wendy - My arse and tris started talking to me today, too! I was starting to miss those good old-fashioned DOMS :7. I'm impressed that yours weren't bad after yesterday's w/o but I *really* hope you aren't getting sick again. Maybe a day off is all you need then you'll be back in fighting form in no time.

Carole - Thanks sweetie. You must be excited about almost being done with your floors. Do we get pics when you're done? My first (and only, so far) race was in the rain and I didn't mind one bit...it actually was kind of nice. WTG on the great run today!!!

Susan - Ooooh, Scrambled Eggs is a goodie...well done!!! It's probably a good thing you got to walk around and shop to keep your legs moving. I've been having a terrible time trying to find sweaters this year...both for work and casual. I hope you came back with lots of gorgeous stuff! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will get a rain day Thurs or Fri and can head to the mall myself.

Shelly - I think it's funny that you consider my hours tough considering yours, darling ;-). Yeouch...I hope your mouth isn't too tender now! My that was quite the little w/o today...I couldn't even imagine. My arse hurts just thinking about that combo!

Kristi - No worries about the short post. I'm glad you were able to partially head off (no pun intended) your migraine today and that DD is feeling better. Sending healing vibes to both of you!

Sunny - Oh, that sounds like a fun workout today! I used to love to swim but just don't have access to a pool anymore.

Judy - At least DH only went into shock and didn't have a full blown heart attack LOL! I had a "chipmunk incident" last year that sounds rather similar to yours. Looking back on it it was hilarious, but I certainly didn't think so at the time x(.

Sweet dreams Cheetahs!

RE: ::: CHEETAHS ::: run for the hill of it on hump day...

Hello Cheetahs!

Looks like I'll be working with my boss a couple of days a week now. It's my choice and it won't bother me too much. It will just cut into my posting time.:)

Judy - I like iStretch but I only do them in 10-20 minute increments.

Lorie - You did a great job with iTread 9 getting in 7.3 miles. I like it because it's pretty close to a steady state run.

Cathy - Do you ever have those weeks that no matter what you do you're still behind? It's one of those weeks again. Glad you're feeling better.

Sunny - The dinners sound yummy. What was the prep time once you got them home?

Wendi - My 1st half is Nov. 4 and the 2nd half will be on Nov. 18.

I did chest, bis and tris from a What I Want Fitness podcast, iStrength #10 chest, some abs, a 1 mile run and some stretching. Took about 45 minutes. Had to make it shorter because I had to leave home earlier today.

I will try to catch up later. I am so tired right now.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day.

Jackie
