::: CHEETAHS ::: Move the rump, it's hump day!

Just a REALLY quick note to say that bless my DD14's heart - she DID hide them (pretty well may I add?!?) THEY ARE HERE!!!! *dances off to try the new workouts!*

Good Afternoon Ladies.

I checked for the HM results when I got home from work this afternoon. It appears they have the top 25 men and women posted. This ofcourse, leaves me out! I am PRAYING that they just have not finished posting results and that EVERY finisher will be listed eventually. I am thinking they CAN'T be done though as they had a 5k race go off the same day and NONE of those results are up yet so I am figuring I have to be right.

I was questioning my ability to work out this afternoon so I decided to go for it and would stop if there were issues. My neck wasn't perfect but I was careful and am none the worse for the wear. I did 4DS bi/tri (FINALLY!LOL)and 4DS kickbox cardio + abs. Great work out. I was very aware of my neck while punching with my left arm during the k/b. I kept it light on that side and was fine. Nothing else gave me any trouble at all. I felt like a weakling during the bi/tri work out but I will get stronger as time goes on, right? }( My elbows don't like lying tri extensions. I used super light weight for them this time but will probably just replace them with a different exercise next time. I am thinking kickbacks since she really doesn't have any but a few with the band in this work out. We'll see.

No time for personals right now but I'll be back here later for sure!

Toodles!:7

hi cheetah ladies!!! i missed posting this morning and i don't think there's much of a chance of doing personals now. :( you guys have sure been chatty! i need to go read the posts from today.

unfortunately, i had trouble falling asleep again last night and had to get up and go, go, go. i wanted to work out and then had to go to an all-day staff meeting that started early. i ended up doing iTread #9/40 min. which i really liked. okay, CONFESSION...i finished the 45 minutes and felt really good so i ran for another 15 minutes, but at a MUCH slower pace than the first 45 minutes. like yesterday, i did 5.2 miles in 45 minutes and by 60 minutes had done 6.6 miles. the whole time i kept thinking that you guys would be mad at me for not keeping my promise!!! ;) although...this might be the longest run i do this week because df and i are going to tennessee for the weekend. i am going to try to get one more run in on friday if i have time. tomorrow is barry!!! :D i have an early meeting, so i don't know if it will be double barry or not. i hope so!

anyway, i am exhausted from lack of sleep and sitting in a BORING meeting all day. sorry i am lacking on the personals. i will do better tomorrow.

Oh, I had a great time over my lunch break (after running around in a panic looking for the videos!). I ended up doing 4DLIS and shoulders (no calf or core work as I did that all yesterday). What a FUN routine. Did it on an 8" step and I'll keep the step there. Definitely a learning curve on some of the moves (I tripped quite a few times!), but the fun factor is wow!!! The only complaint I have is I'd have rather done the complete routine twice or even three times through instead of the Outer thigh straddle thing. *shrugs* One minor complaint, so it's not a big deal. I loved the shoulder work, too. Shoulder work I always go lighter than Cathe (I hurt my neck if I lift to much on shoulders) but holy cow, I'm still burning!

AAAARGH! I was well into personals when I hit the wrong !@#$#@! button and lost it all!x( x( x(

I don't have the patience or the time to re-do it at this point so I'll just say a general hello. I have to shower and then we are heading out to Costco.

I promise to come back later and catch up though!:)

K girls...forgive me but it's alot later then I thought it would be when I got back here again. I'm going to have to pass on personals for tonight but I PROMISE to catch up tomorrow! I pinky swear!:+ :7

Have a great night!

Hi cheetahs!

This was day two of the hell zone at work…I can’t say much about it except that it’s not good and that I am completely stressed. I had a pounding headache when I came home and napped for a bit but just got up and banged out BC. Felt good - really good - to sweat it out. Enjoyed bi’s & tri’s this morning (great w/out!) with a bit of discomfort, but my theory about staying in motion has been good for the back. For those who asked, I did feel good after the adjustment, but I laid down for a nap afterward, and that seems to be the problem. When I’m inactive for awhile, I stiffen up. As for the cause....my back had been a little tight lately, and I overdid it when I lifted some heavy cement blocks over the weekend.

Lori :: congrats on the smaller pants size!

Sunny :: Sure…it was $583. I have been considering it for that past 6-7 years and finally took the plunge. I think the weight loss, skin improvement, and the upcoming wedding has given me the nudge to splurge on some cosmetic improvements…You know we are absolutely 100% behind you as you further your career & educational goals!

Judy :: awww, I’m glad Rocky is home safe. The stretching did help. I stretched and did some very slow, careful dynamic spinal twists…Yes, I’m having the whitening done at the dentist’s office…You had a busy day today…Agree with you about the parents who let their teens have drinking parties. Believe it or not, this happens already at the middle school level, too.

Wendy :: Oh, http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/78.gif get outta here. I think it’d be great to run a race together since our pacing seems to be close…Glad your neck cooperated enough for you to manage a workout. We're both on the mend ~ yay!!!

Wendi :: Glad you got a break with the rain…I have been to Uncle Nick’s (*love* Greek food!) ~ it’s a good spot. My favorite Italian place is just up 9th Ave. It’s called 44SW. A little mom & pop place. Outstanding dishes.

Christine :: sounds like quite the effort to pull DH’s birthday surprise! Glad you all enjoyed the evening…My heart goes out to all those affected by the fires. Terrible…What a relief that your DVDs did arrive safe and sound. *joins you for a happy dance*

Carole :: sorry about your pain, too…Oh yeah, I should use the BioFreeze in addition to the heat. Good idea! Can’t wait til you try BC. I haven’t explored the premixes yet, but I agree it would be nice to have some longer cardio options. Right now, I love the 30/30 structure.

Jackie :: if you happen to see this, have a safe trip and a GREAT time in NYC!!

Kristi :: awww, poor DD. Hope the meds kick in quickly and knock out the bronchitis.

Shelly :: the number of premixes *is* mind-boggling…SO many options! I love it. Hope you have a calm night at work.

Lorie :: sorry about the boring meeting. I don't know how you cope so well with the chronic insomnia. Hats off to you for getting up and working out in the AM! (Even if you cheated on your new resolution. ;) :7)

OK, cheetah babes, I think I'm caught up. Have a GREAT night!
