::: CHEETAHS ::: Monday, Monday--so good to me

Quick workout report: I did iCycle #24/30 (mostly sprints and one hill). It's a good one, but in my rush to get the cardio done I forgot to put on my HRM. :( Oh well, I'll look back and see what past calorie burns were for that workout. I stretched really well after that.

Carole ~ That's what I'll do..just add another leg workout or two. I have so many rotations I want to try....NROL4W and another Freestyle rotation. I guess I have enough to keep me busy until STS comes out. ;-) Have fun with your workout!

Cathy ~ Good luck getting your grading done. Do the kids ask all the time for the grades? We would pester the teachers all the time. ;-)

Wendy ~ Why are you changing the recovery week up? Just curious. Did you make a lot of changes your first time through w/P90X?

Yep, hope ds goes to sleep tonight with no problem. He's fascinated by Halloween, so maybe it'll be ok. :+

Cathy: Hope you are getting lots accomplished tonight! Take full advantage of your ski trip weekend! It's already planned and you are right, it will be very good for you. You deserve and probably NEED the break so ENJOY!!! Have a few martinis for me too!:9

Carole: Well I'm glad you are able to get a prescription med for cheaper just so long as it works for you. I know not all allergy meds work for all people. Thanks re the run. It was tough but I guess I was determined!}(

Dallas: Oh if your DS loves halloween then how scared could he really be by some silly ghost story, right? :) I am changing my recovery week because I ran for almost 70 minutes today. That's only 20 minutes shy of the cardio for the WEEK! LOL I don't stick to the time on the nose but I just don't feel the need to do that much more cardio so I figure I'll get more yoga in while I can. I guess after completing Yoga X this weekend I'm a little hyped up on the yoga thing. My the end of the week, I'm sure I'll be over it though. :p :7 Yes, I did modify the original X rotation as well. I did classic but added a bit of extra cardio and leg work to it. I also used running as my main cardio so I didn't do kenpo or plyo much at all.
 
HI another quick post here.

DD has been sharing details of her Peru trip. It turns out she was there during a major taxi strike and there was a chance of tourists being caught in violent demonstrations. But her group was safe, TG.

I ended my rest week yesterday and did Cardio Kicks with great intensity and core synergy supine prone and side lying abs. DOMS have set in in my back, biceps and hammies from yesterday!

Today was an interval ourdoor run with Grace: iTread #6 outdoors. I got in another intense workout. (6 miles in under 60 minutes with all walking breaks actually walking) This will be the last outdoor run of the week. WE are getting a big storm starting tomorrow and into Wednesday. The prediction is from 7-16 inches of snow . Dallas did you get the big snow?

Wendy & Sunny I am quite intrigued with NFOWL4W and think I 'am going to look at the book. If I can get to Borders tomorrow, I have a coupon to use.

The next 3 weeks will be 4DS and 3 runs and one kick box workout.

I have noticed some of you doing non Cathe KB workouts. Which ones do you recommend and why?

OK sorry to post and leave, but the family is settling in to watch American Idol from last Thursday and I am going to join them....

Judy, yep, it's slick out there. Looks like you'll get this snow system a day later. Fun, huh? I'm interested in NROL4W too. It would be fun if we all started at the same time. :) I think everyone is talking about kettlebell workouts. I know Sunny and Christine are when they write "KB". There's a Extreme KB, AOS, and Amy Bento is coming out with a KB workout. I currently only have Iron Core I picked up at Target. Glad DD's trip was safe. Nice workout!! We Tivo AI too. It gets too late for the kids. Do you have a favorite yet?

OK, better go take some motrin because the DOMS is setting in already. }(

Judy, I don't know what NROL4W will cost at Borders or what your coupon is worth but I bought my copy at Amazon. It was a MUCH better deal then at Barnes and Noble where I had originally looked at it. I picked up another book and got free shipping and BOTH books cost me just a couple of bucks over what NROL4W was going to cost ALONE at B&N!:7
