I’m back and feeling really good after Yoga for Happiness Magically Hips – that one really stretches the legs. LOVE it!
Lorie – So glad I convinced you to run! WAY TO GO on doing 7 miles!! *Does happy does with Lorie!*
Kristi - Thanks! Enjoy your run with Chelsea! How’s she doing for you? Is she coming along well? Sounds like she is. Glad you checked in!
Carole - It is a big mix of people. I enjoy it. I’m trotting along minding my own business and a woman twice as big as me will pass me at a good clip. I silently cheer her on – thinking “You go girl!” I just love it. And the smiles at the finish line! It’s amazing. The Achilles pain is better already. A little stiff, but I have Power Circuits on tap for tomorrow and I think I’ll be able to give it a good go. Enjoy BBC!
Amy – Thanks for the check in! Glad to know all is well! Enjoy your gym workout!
Susan – Oh, yeah, that ice cream felt great today! There were a few poses that just felt so good that I kind of understood what he meant (but, still, not quite to THAT extent!) Sorry about the food hangover! I hate those. Fresh baked apple pie, hmm? I’m not sure I’d have been able to resist. One piece of pie does not a failure make… :+ Hope your run was pleasant!
Shelly – Glad you have a short shift today! Enjoy your cardio – I love that premix (hey – watch who you’re calling a sicko!

) The Big Sur run is beautiful. Check out the photos –
http://www.bsim.org/Big_Sur_in_Pictures/Photo_Gallery/2006_Album.htm. I cannot wait to run it. Although I understand that only the 21 mile and marathon actually go across that bridge, but it’s supposed to me the most beautiful marathon in the world (or one of them). It’s also tough. So I think you should join us for it… *walks away whistling* :+
Jackie – that’s for the drive by – always nice to know you’re doing well! Good job on the iTread! I have my fingers crossed for the car window and the rain. Looks like we’re going to get some too. But ya never know in California.
Sunny – get signed up girl! It’s not real until you do! Sounds like a great time of year to run a half in North Carolina!!
Judy - Yeah for the mirror! Nice to be able to check your form!
Wendi – Glad to hear you’re enjoying your day! Enjoy your leaf blowing! The Achilles is better, so I’m happy. Check out the photos from last year’s 10.6 miler. I’ve always thought that this one would be the ultimate Cheetah GTG. A run for everyone, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world! (I posted the link in the message for Shelly. Oh - you'll LOVE BBC! They are only as tough as you make them. The first time I did them, I went light with the weights, and had no DOMs. The cardio is tough, but you can always do it with an 8" step instead of a 14" one. So you can adapt it to suit your needs. You'll be fine!
Cathy – Glad you managed to head off that migraine! Sorry you’re not 100% Hope you feel better! Yoga is the best thing for the Achilles – gentle stretching. It’s feeling good. Yeah – that was quite the game yesterday! We were sitting with a good mix of fans at the local sports bar and one side or the other was constantly cheering.
Wendy – Oh COOL!!! Let us know how they are! It’ll be another week and a half before I get mine as I ordered in August and they are coming on Pony Express to me across country…
I’m losing my window seat and going into dreaded cube only territory. Oh well. No more watching the traffic as it goes into the mall. Bummer. But there is a conference room – so maybe I can go in there and draw the curtains and do some yoga… There’s a rainbow! Enjoy your evenings everyone!
