::: CHEETAHS ::: Have a strong & healthy Thursday!

Christine - I'm glad Jimmy's surgery went well. My springer is microchiped too. The rescue where we adopted her do it to all their dogs. It is a great thing!

Carole - That is awful. Did you have to bathe Sadie in tomato juice to get rid of the smell? I've always heard that works, but I've never tried it to find out.

Wendy - I agree it is very bizarre weight gain. That has never happened to me before, but then again I have never been on this brand of b/c pill before either. My rotation will consist of running 4 times/week, beginning with 4 days of 3 milers, and 1-2 days of strength training. Every week I will increase one run by a mile. Hopefully it will keep the injuries at bay by not increasing too quickly and following the 10% rule. Near the end of November I should be running 8 miles comfortably for my long runs and 4 miles the other 3 days, I might play around with that though. I want to then keep that mileage until after the holidays when I begin working on my speed work and preparing for my first race(s) in March. All in all, that is the game plan. I hope it works out like I hope. I'm sure I will need to tweak it here and there, such as with the weight training.

Hello again, my fine & fabulous cheetah friends! http://www.infohub.com/forums/images/smilies/bye.gif

Susan :: big (((HUGS))) to you…I am so sorry about this latest scare for Mary and hope that it has been caught early enough. Will say more prayers. Please keep us posted and try not to think the worst. The mind can be our own worst enemy sometimes.

Wendy :: don’t be too impressed with me…it was only PUB abs I did this morning.
SO glad you’re feeling back in form again!…Smiling at your warm description of your dad and uncle. They both sound like truly special people.

Judy :: this week *has* flown, hasn’t it? Glad you enjoyed the iTread…I only have two and am not as savvy about the discount codes, but I’m sure someone will chime in w/ it.

Kristi :: oh no! Sorry to hear about the scale shock…What brand are you using? I have been happy with Loestrin and don’t think it caused me to gain.

Wendi :: Hadn’t heard of that site but will bookmark it. I use a Garmin out on my runs, but this’ll be good to plot out new routes. I like mapmyrun.com, too…Thanks for the review of Across the Universe. I don’t always get into musical movies so much, but I do love the Beatles and it sounds like it’d be up my alley.

Jess :: best of luck with your new X venture ~ sounds ideally-suited to you!

Carole :: Oh no! Poor Sadie! Hope it doesn’t linger too long…I don’t think they were showing off. I think the b**tards were just FAST! Fast like cheetahs. Me slow like turtle.

Christine :: glad Jimmy is doing well…So, what happened with the position being created that you were going to train the person for? Has that happened? Sorry it doesn’t seem to be working out. It is hard to beat that commute!

Jackie :: is Total Body Sculpting on LIC? I have the w/out as produced on my rotation for tomorrow…thank you re: the lbs. So far so good!

Lorie :: My friend emailed me back re: his chapel…He doesn't remember where it was and said he’d look it up. At the speed he moves, you’ll probably be married by then. *lol* But I see Tammy’s hooked you up w/ some good info, so all is good…Holy smokes! 6.8 miles yesterday, MIC u/b and CM today! We’re gonna have to restrain you tomorrow to make sure you get some rest! ;) *more quick healing vibes comin’ atcha*

Hi Shelly, Gayle, Amy and anyone else stopping in!

My observation lesson today went really well. No Beavis and Butthead moments even though they are learning about diction. (What a great word to introduce to middle schoolers, eh?) *lol* Anyhow, I'm gonna relax, eat something, and then do a little k'boxing. http://www.vbaexpress.com/forum/images/smilies/boxer2.gif

Will try to get back here later. Have a great night, all!

Hi ladies! I only have a moment before I have to run out the door. Riding was okay today...only had to do three, thank goodness...it was HOT and very humid!

First, I need to correct an oversight from this morning...

Christine - I'm sorry I lost you in the shuffle this am. I was actually about you and Jimmy this afternoon. I hope the little guy's recovery goes well.

Susan - You and your friend Mary are in my prayers. {{{{HUGS}}}}.

I'll catch up with everyone tomorrow morning. Have a good night!

Good Evening Cheetahs. http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Others/others-244.gif[/IMG]

I just gave Joey a http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Others/bubble-bath-071.gif[/IMG]. He is watching one of his fave shows and then it's off to http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Sleepy/sleep-012.gif[/IMG] but only after he http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Others/washing-mouth-048.gif[/IMG].

Man, my neck hurts!!! I don't know if I strained it during the shoulder work out y'day or if I slept funny or what but it's killin' me! It's actually not TOO bad right now. It seems to have loosened up some but it was pretty bad before! It's not my arthritis. It's a totally different pain. I DID something to cause this to happen. ACK! I hope it's gone by tomorrow!x(

Speaking of tomorrow, it's leg and back day! I will probably be called back to a combo of B&G and pull ups. I am such a sucker for pain! LOL

Susan: (((HUGS))) to you and prayers and thoughts to Mary!!!! Think positive! I know it's easier said then done but you gotta do it for her! Keep us posted please.

Lorie: Sorry you are still feeling icky. I hope it clears up for you before this weekend's race!

Kristi: Well best of luck with your rotation! Making the plan is the easy part. It's finding ways to stick with it that is the hard part, right? :)

Cathy: Hey, PUB abs is nothing to joke about girl! Good job getting it done. How did your kb'ing session go tonight?

Hi Wendi!

Have a great night ladies!:+

Awww!! Gentle (((HUGS))) to Jimmy!

Wendy :: maybe some heat on the neck tonight?...Thanks ~ the PUB abs, though tough, are one of my favorites. I just love the move where you raise the ball and then kick it one leg at a time...K'boxing was good...I did 30 min. of Kickbox Boot Camp (10 Min. Solutions). Of course, it's nowhere near as intense as Cathe, but you do break a decent sweat. I like Keli Roberts and wish she would put out a really killer KB w/out!
