::: CHEETAHS ::: feel good Friday

Hey Cheetahs-

Back to report that my run was 9.5 miles on the Treadmill. I did not mind going outside, but I ran into a few snags along the way. I forgot my phone, and I have promised DE I will run with one. Then I was at my parking spot at the grocery store ready to go and WTH? my headphones were severed. So I went to Target bought new ones and just went home and hopped on the TM. With grace and iTread 7 & 30 minutes of iTread 20. The time flew by. At 9 miles I decided I was tired so I pushed to 9.5 and called it a day.

Shelly & Cathy -The snow did not amount to anything but it was windy all day. But you are welcome to Western NY anytime for a visit and share our snow!!!

Carole- I thought of you as I drove by a new Steinmart that opened today. DS and I went in and looked around but did not buy anything.

Lorie- I wish you the best at persuading that adviser on Sunday!!!

Sunny- I was just wondering about the BOSU, thanks. I certainly have enough to keep me busy anyway.

it warms my heart so much to have a place i can come and vent and get such wonderful, thoughtful, and supportive advice and comfort. thank you all so much. i really, really mean that.

i ended up doing IMAX2 (can't get enough of that one!!!) and PUB today. I decided no legs until after the race. tomorrow is a 4 mile run and i am going to do a hilly course. i am starting to get excoted except the forecast is calling for rain. i ran it one year in the cold and rain. not so fun.

cathy-the trip sounds like so much fun!!! i am going to have to seriously look into that!

Judy :: I do enjoy the white stuff! Makes me wanna ski. Great job with your run despite the snafus.

Lorie :: absolutely...I will PM you a slideshow from last year's trip to Breckenridge. This year we will be just outside Winter Park but will probably spend a day in Vail b/c we all agreed it was a favorite. Our general game plan works like this: we like to get to the slopes early, ski all day, stopping, of course, for a bite or a beverage, and then hit the apres ski scene: a drink or two followed by the hot tub. Pass out and repeat. I think a day on the slopes burns at least 1000 calories.

Hiya babes!

Tonight's check-in will have to suffice for the next couple of days. I've got a long work day tomorrow and then another horse show on Sunday so I won't have time to post over the weekend. I'm determined to squeeze in Imax 2 *very* early tomorrow morning, though, to make up for the missed run that I had on tap for today.

Christine - Wow, you survived BCX2...well done!!! I'm sure that took care of that much enjoyed rest day . It's funny, we actually see quite a few Friesans while down in Florida for the winter circuit as there are a lot of dressage barns in the area that have them.

Carole - Black Friday isn't too bad here as long as you get there *EARLY*...especially Kohl's ;-)! I did it once and thought it wasn't really as bad as they say.

Jackie - I hope the construction goes according to plan...how exciting! I can't believe you're shooting for another half so soon...incredible! When are you going to slow down a take a well deserved rest?

Shelly - LMAO at the ass!!! The funny thing is they remind me of the ears on the "troublesome mare" at our farm ! A race right before your mary...it sounds like fun but...NUTSO :p! Good luck!

Sunny - Great workout! Glad to hear that you enjoyed your hi/lo!

Cathy - Thanks for the email regarding the card exchange! I kind of like the idea of opening the packages at the same time but I can't quite figure out how we would do that. Anyone have any thoughts? I'm so glad your back is finally better!!!! Your ski trips sound like a blast!

Judy - Great job getting that run in reardless of all the obstacles!

Lorie - Good luck tomorrow! Enjoy every minute of your race and leave everything else behind you!!! I'm with Christine, trying to push that pendulum in the *right* direction for you.

Yoohoo, Wendy, where are you??? I hope you're okay!

Well, that catches me up for now. I hope to at least pop in and see what everyone's up to even if I don't have time to post. I think I hear my nice warm bed calling my name...

Hey Cheethas!
Sorry Cathy about not giving my wish list. I did not know we were doing that. I thought it was just a suprise. Here goes:

weight lifting gloves(sm/med
small workout towels
workout bra top(medium)
workout socks(crew) medium thickness
workout sweat bands
amy bento slo mo(not sure how much that cost)
CATHE CALENDAR!!!!!! would love that!

That is it. Sorry I did not post the past couple of days. I just hosted a party for my friend Mary today. I got together 9 girls friends and we just had some fun and some treats and just wanted to hang out and let her know we are here. It was fun, but I am totally exhausted right now.

I am going to do BM2 cardio premix and 4DS bi's and tri's. I hope I don't bag it tonight. No, I will do it!!!

Have a good night ladies!

Susan

Evening Cheetahs.

I just finished about the first 30 minutes of Long and Lean Yoga. I did it through the upper body strength segment.

I've been reading the posts all day but just didn't feel like posting. I'm sorry if I worried anyone. I didn't mean to. I spent most of DS's nap time today on the phone with a good friend. I am not in a happy place as far as a part of my personal life goes (I haven't been for some time now to be honest) so I was talking to my friend about it. It seems I have been in denial and putting off the inevitable. I have a tough road ahead of me now.

DH is working O/T so it'll just be DS and I most of the weekend. I am going out tmrw night to blow off steam though so I'm thankful for that.

Not sure what's on the agenda as far as work outs go but seeing as I'll have nothing but time on my hands I am hoping to have the energy for atleast ONE good work out this weekend. This cold is still nagging at me and dragging me down. I can't get up in the morning anymore. I used to get up by 6:30 most mornings and I've been sleeping later and later! This morning I didn't get up until after 8am and it's not like I even went to bed late last night! WTH!? x(

Well, it's 10pm. I guess I should get my arse to bed now.

Until tomorrow ladies...
Good night. :)
