My cravings for carbs and sugar stopped. I think this is because if you keep your body fueled with good carbs and protein about every 3 hours, your blood sugar stays stable and you don;t have those highs and lows that make you want all the bad stuff!
I was getting starved mid afternoon and would basically eat everything in sight. Switching to more frequent meals, and making sure to add protein, good carbs, and veggie/fruit to each meal has helped me avoid that afternoon feeding frenzy.
Same as above -- it kept my blood sugar steady thru the day. When my blood sugar drops, I get tired, irritable and angry, and I start craving sweets and other bad foods.
