CHALLENGERS - Week of 12/6/10

Hello, new week, new goals. This week I plan on getting in 5 days of workouts. Haven't done that in awhile.

This morning I revisited Intensity. I made it through the 2nd step portion but passed on the third. I previewed it while I caught my breath, LOL. Then on to the HIIT portion. I liked it a lot, but was too wore out to do the low impact section. I kind of previewed it a little while I got on the tread mill. (I'm trying to through in a sprint or two each workout to build up my speed). There is also a bootcamp bonus at the end of Intensity. I will have to try that by itself some time. I'm still having to work my endurance back up so it will be a day to celebrate when I am able to do this one from start to finish.

I was quite surprised that after High Reps, I wasn't sore. Must not have gone heavy enough, but it sure felt plenty heavy when I did it. Roxie I will let you know the next time I do it if I get different results. HOpe you have a great week planned.

Good Morning Jean,

I am with you on a new week new goals. I am going to do Cathes Dec Rotation from last year with the timesavers and since I know tonite is DM cardio only I will do KCMs 30min to KBXing.
 
This morning I did 30 minutes of Lower Body Blast. I kind of jumped around to try it out since I didn't have time to do it all. I think I really am going to like this one. the floor work with the band really got into the muscle.

Roxie, what are your plans for today?

Hi Jean,

I have 2 different plans, DH and I are going out with DD and her DH for supper and I don't really know what time so if we are going out at 6pm I can get in a quick workout before we go if we are going out at 5pm then I am going to run the stairs here at work I wore my HR monitor just in case. Sounds like a fun workout for you today, Cathes lower body workouts with the band are always tough even without a band they are tough.

Roxie, nice job on getting a workout in before dinner. No workout for me so far today. I had a dentist appointment this morning so I hope to get something in tonight. Although the way my heart was racing at the dentist's office, I think I might have gotten in a cardio workout, lol.

Tonite I did BM 2 Upper Body, Abs and Stretch then I did KCMs KBXing.

BM Stats:
35 min
21 in the zone
120 min hr
163 max hr
179 cals burned.

KCM:
30 min
19 in the zone
145 min hr
169 max hr
212 cals burned.
 
This morning I did almost all of Intensity, about 45 minutes of it. I haven't done cardio for more than 30 minutes in a while so it felt good to be working my time back up. I really like this DVD, but it has a lot of jumping in it so I will have to limit how often I do it.
