Hi everyone.
I can't believe it is Thursday already! Where is the week and the year going?
I had a day off work today and let me tell you I needed it. I din't realise how stressed I was getting.
I was getting stressed because those darn men are acting up again. One of them had a really "bad" day yesturday. I bounce into the office all bubbly and happy, "Morning! How you doing?"
"This place is F#%#%#D, I'm S#%#%%$e and I wish I were dead." Oh Great. Just what I need, doom and gloom. However, on this day he decides to share with us how he's going to dead himself. Pills. He was angry and agressive, swearing and within 1/2 hour I was totally worn out. Luckily someone called me away. I tried to avoid him for the rest of the day, but I could hear him still carrying on and on. By the end of the day I was exhausted.
Its hard to keep supporting someone when they continue to behave in this manner, day after day, theres only so much any of us can do and then we just think, I don't care anymore. We do care, really, but its tough work. Know what I mean?
Elaine - I'm sooo sorry for your young man. I understand how he feels and its very common for those who are the vicitm of bullying to not address it. He lives in fear of repercussion? did I spell that right? Is it at all possible to work on his confidence and try to help him not be an easy target? Its a tough situation. Hang in there.
