Well I'm up and can't sleep so I figured I'd start the weekend thread. Plan for Saturday is to get up and get a weight workout in before my hair appointment. Of course since I'm up now, I might not be able to get up early enough. If that happens, it will be my rest day. Maybe I should just go workout now. HaHa. Anyone else ever work out at 2:15 in the morning? Not gonna happen here. Hope every one has a great weekend. I need to watch what I eat this weekend. Last night we went out to dinner for some country cooking. I was craving rolls and potatoes (as if I'm not going to have enough of those on Thanksgiving). Oh well that's probably what had me thinking about them.

Jean-Im with ya...i need to watch what i eat this weekend too, i ordered pizza last night for the "kids"(knowing darn good and well i can't resist pizza:rolleyes:) so if you can imagine how that turned out! Sorry you couldn't sleep...i wouldn't workout at 2:15 in the morning either:confused:

Today is my little work day:rolleyes:Then im thinking about some cardio on the treadmill! I need to do some core too!

Ive got some goals bouncing around in my head(uh-oh;)) Jan. 1st is just around the corner and im about to get VERY serious about my workouts and eating...I know that when i stick to my diet and workout i will lose weight, and ive still got a good 30lbs to lose! I want to lose it before summer of next year,which i think gives me a realistic goal!

ok,enough babbling...bbl after work!

Well I guess I should have gotten up and chatted with Jean this morning because the last time I looked at the clock it was 4am. Today is C&W along with cleaning, laundry, wal-mart and doing some holiday baking. I to need to watch what I eat this weekend they are always bad and I spend the rest of the week fixing it.

Jean-hope you get up early enough for a workout.

Amelia-enjoy your tm time I need to start using mine again.

Andrea and Elaine have a nice weekend and lets challenge ourselves to eat healthy this weekend.

Roxie, Amelia I'm with you both on the challenges. To eat well this weekend AND give my self a mini goal to get some pounds off.

Jean I hate those 2.30 a.m. wake ups! I was going to bed at that time!

I am working again tonight.

Its wet and rainy and cold here! Very strange. I'd almost forgotten what rain was !

Well, I am a little late checking in. I was up pretty close to your time too. I worked last night and I always have a hard time getting to sleep when I get home.

I've already flunked with the better eating challenge. I had some pizza for lunch. We made wreaths with the scouts today and they always order pizza.

Andrea: Hope you have a quiet evening at work.

Jean:No I wouln't WO out at that time either, unless it was a calming yoga routine.

Amelia: I am with you come Jan 1st. With STS release i hope that will jump start my challenge.


Roxie: I hope you got everthing you had planned done today.

No workout for me.

andrea: Do you celebrate some sort of holiday that is equivalent to Thanksgiving?
 
Elaine, you might be late checking in, but I'm totally EARLY. I'm at work so I had better make this quick.

I think I told you guys I joined up Beachbody? Mainly so that I could get Charlean Extreme. I have to say, so far, its been really good. I get newslettery things emailed to me and they are very informative and interesting. I'll probably get sick of reading all the junk mail soon enough!

Elaine -We don't have anything like Thanksgiving. We do have Australia Day in January, but its not as "big deal" as your thanksgiving.

Morning girls!

I started getting a itchy throat and runny nose yesterday evening and this morning I woke up to a full fledge cold:mad: and its so dry here too! Stupid Ga weather:mad:Oh well,its suppose to be my off day anyway!

My eating was crap yesterday too...had pizza for lunch(but did do a 30min jog) then for supper we mad cheeseburgers and fries....the meat was lean:eek:

anyhoot, ive got to stay around my cals today. Im up a couple of lbs and I need to get rid of that water weight!

I may do a light powerwalk on the treadmill today...just to make me 'feel ' better!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Elaine-Sorry you had to work late! Enjoy your rest day!

Andrea-Ive heard of Beachbody but what is it exactly? Is it a serious of workouts?

Happy Sunday all.

This morning I was up early to get a workout in before early Mass. Usually I go to early Mass and then have to force myself to do a workout afterwards. Today I made sure to get up and get it in. I've still got a lot to do before in-laws arrive this afternoon. Now I've off to scrub the floors, vacuum and do final touch ups, plus need to grocery shop.

This mornings workout was the legs only premix from 4DS.

Eating isn't working for me either. I'm up 2 lbs since Friday. I hope it's water weight.

Good Morning,

Today is a rest and stretch day. Woke up with a migraine. Didn't eat enough water yesterday and didn't eat horrible but I didn't eat well either. Got a start on holiday baking have to bake the sausage today and then make the peanut clusters. Yesterday I mixed the sausage and made capn crunch cups(captian crunch pb cereal, rice krispies, dry roasted peanuts and almond bark) very good not healthy even though it is all cereal.

Amelia-beachbody is a web site that sells p90, turbojam and other exercise programs.

Andrea-sorry you had to work good thing you don't have thanksgiving eats an eat fest. I ordered something and they keep sending me sales deals I just delete them.

Elaine-how are you today?

Jean-what are your plans today?

Time to fix breakfast unless I can talk DH into doing it. Everyone have a good day.
 
Quick Hi!!

I have to make a grocery store run. I forgot a few things on Friday.
Today is a busy day getting wreaths and popcorn delivered, plus we have a man coming over to discuss siding for our house in RI.

I am going to try and get a 1.0 mi. walk in with the puppy. She is taking a very long nap which means she will be full of energy later.

I managed to get in an hour on the treadmill. burned almost 500cals. felt great afterwards....i watched The Notebook while doing it,one of my favorite movies!
