Hey, where is everyone? I was going to start the thread on my lunch, but got distracted. Now I'm home and no one started it yet? Hope I'm not duplicating.

Today was not a workout day. My nose is all stopped up and I have sneezed more in the past 2 days then I have my whole life (at least it feels that way). The dogs have been in the house due to the cold and my DH asked me if I thought I was starting to be allergic to them. That better not be the case, because I love my pooches too much to have them make me miserable from allergies. They already make me miserable enough from the darn digging!!! I swear our back yard is going to look like that movie "Holes". And the sad part is the dogs are only out for a few minutes because its cold, but they must have learned speed digging somewhere. I say they, but I really only mean one because I'm pretty sure only 1 is doing the digging. We actually set up a video camera when she was a puppy to find out which one dug.

Hopefully I will start to feel better and get back to working out. I still don't know what rotation I want to do.

Jean LOL! about the video camera. I certainly can sympathise(?sp) about the digging. I hope you feel better and I hope it is a cold and not an allergy.

This morning I did BM2 upper body once through,Disc 6 band work and BM2 stretch.
 
Ok I decided to do Ellen Barretts Zen Sculpt from fittv and then TBS.

Morning

Ive got a cold:mad: its not bad,im still going to workout..just some stuffiness, but it is draining my energy. Dh had it last week and i new i would get it:mad:. I took a rest day yesterday hoping it would help but no such luck.

The kids have a 2 hour delay for school today so im fixing to get them ready to go. The roads still have some slick spots so i guess thats why. I love my babies but im soooooo glad there going back to school...i need some peace and quiet:confused:

Ive got a cardio + mm upper body push/pull on tabs for today.

Tonite I will do either Ellen Barretts Slo-Robics or KCMs KB. We had 40 degree temps yesterday so it helped melt some of this snow.
 
Amelia: take care of your cold.

Roxie: 40 degrees sounds absolutly balmy!!

This morning I did Hiit Pyramid. I really liked this one. I think I like it best. It does not use a step, it is all floor cardio, plie jacks,1/4 turns,tuck jumps, squat jumps, air jacks,power scissors,forward jump three times and turn,mountain climbers can't remeber if there was anymore. They start with 20sec then she adds 5 sec to each interval until you reach the longest interval of 40sec. Then you go back down the pyramid. IMO this was the easiest of the Hiit DVD for me.

Along with Hiit I did MMA boxing abs and 10min. of Namaste yoga.
 
well no workout to report:(...so frustrating when i have a cold, my asthma gets aggravated really easy with it. And to top it all off my throat is beginning to get scratchy...ugh.

Im having some nasty cravings today for some reason:confused: i will have to fight my way through them.

Im not sure what today's workout will be...i will have to wait and see what i feel like doing later, my cold isn't any better but my throat is..so thats good.

After about 3pm my eating was terrible yesterday:( im not really sure what happened. DH says its because i was sick and my body wanted more food:p:rolleyes:
oh well,back on track today, its not the first time Ive slipped and it won't be my last;)

Good Morning,

I didn't get a workout in yesterday DH came home last night and he is leaving again today and won't be home until Friday so I spent some time with him. Tonite will be KCMs KB and another Ellen Barrett that is pilates with wts.

Amelia-hope you get to feeling better soon. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just say screw it eat whatever we want and not gain wt.?

I forgot to ask earlier. DH and I are browsing the housing market for a home. Any advice for first time home buyers? Were gonna go through a real estate agent...not even sure which on yet?:confused: Should we first find a home we like or first contact an agent?

Amelia-I would browse the internet and find some homes you like then ask around and find a good realestate agent. Don't settle on the first home you see we looked for 3 months and still got one that didn't meet all of our requirements. Now how much money you have to play with and ask the seller to pay closing costs. There is a show on HGTV called property virgins and she helps first time buyers also watch house hunters.
 
Amelia: Good luck. My only advice is know what you can live with and without. EX. can you live wtihout a garage or is it a deal breaker.

Jean: have you tried all the new STS shock cardio DVDs yet?

This morning I did B&G leg blast premix skipping a few things here and there. I've never done that premix before. All I have to say is WOW!
It would fit great with a freestyle rotation.

Gotta go walk the puppy.
 
No workout again for me. I am feeling better today though. Still real sinusy. I want to be able to breath freely again.

Roxie, wouldn't that be great about eating anything you want.

Amelia, I have been feeling the same way about wanting to eat everything. I think my body is trying to tell me, Starve a fever, FEED a cold, LOL. Good luck on the house hunting. I would check around and see what areas you are looking at and ask around about good agents. A good agent can really narrow down your searches for you. And the good news is they are paid on commission of the sale of the house so you aren't paying them anything upfront for their time to show you around. Is there new construction in your area or are you looking for pre-owned?

I did KCMs KB and want to do Ellen Barretts Burn and Firm Pilates when I get done talking to DH depending on how my eye feels went to the eye dr. to get new contacts and they scratched the left eye really bad and the right one alittle using eye drops every hr.

Ive got a little mini-challenge going on for myself this week. I can't get on the scale until my official weigh in day on Sunday:eek: wish me luck:D

Today's workout is KCMeyer's Plyometrics then her Leg workout on NYC. Really like her,its a nice change of pace from what im use to.

I finally got a chance to watch the biggest loser yesterday. I really liked how Jillian took time with that lady who was scared to get in the water. I really like her on that show...but for some reason i don't like her as an instructor:confused:. I really like bob though...i wish he would make another yoga dvd:p

Jean-How are you feeling today? My nose is almost cleared up...this cold wasn't too bad. Ive been taking vitamin C this whole week...maybe it did help. About the house hunting..right now were looking for pre-owned homes. We did contact a Realtor yesterday and she recommended that we get pre-approved mortgage...so that's what were waiting on now. Very exciting for us.

Roxie-Great workout yesterday..,you really like Ellen Barretts workouts huh? i noticed you do them alot,i may have to check into her. Thanks again for suggesting Kelly's workouts. Im really enjoying them. Ive got to decide what workout to get next.;)

Elaine-WTG with B&G's, that workout hurts,LOL. Right now our main focus is the find a 3bedroom,2bath home that is in the kids school district...

Tonite is Ellen Barretts Slo-Robics and I am hoping to get in the one I didn't do last nite.

Amelia-if you get fittv you can get the above workout from All Star Workouts. I have her yogini which is good and 2 crunch ones that I haven't tried yet. I like her workouts because they are not hard on the joints but you get a complete workout. Your welcome on the Kellys I haven't done them as much as I would like to.

Amelia:Good luck with your mini challenge. These days I don't even step on the scale it is to depressing. I am concentrating on keeping motivated for my WOs and eating healthy. I guess my mini challenge is to eat clean with one cheat meal and 1 cheat desert.

This morning my behind is feeling yesterdays WO.:eek: I did MMA Boxing wearing my Cathe hand weights(1lb each). I didn't do the ab work. The WO totaled 43min and 218cals.

I had a bone scan done on Tuesday and the Tech said I had slight Osteoporosis.:eek: I am waiting for my Doctor to call. I also had blood work done to recheck some levels. It really stinks getting old. I always thought doing weight bearing exercises are suppose to help with bone density. I guess my results could have been worse if I didn't WO.Sheesh !!

I went back to hard contacts and something got underneath them and scratched up my eye before I ever left his office they are still tender today.
 
Hey girls, i finished my workout. Man i was breathing hard during that leg workout...she doesn't even use any weights,just body weight. Im pooped. Burned 450.

Elaine,thats exactly what i have...one cheat meal + dessert. DH is talking about going to apple-bee's Sunday...i want to try out those 550 calorie meals they got.

Roxie-I have fitv..i will dvr a couple of her workouts.
