for those doing this program, what have your results been thus far? Do you add a weigted vest when doing lower body exercises?

I wasn't that thrilled with my results -- I didn't do it exactly as planned. I did wear a weighted vest for much of it and perhaps that was a mistake because I'm still dealing with a sore left hamstring. I only did one week of the final, lean, circuit because I was anxious to get to STS. I liked this in that it's different than anything I'd ever done, but I have to say that I think my endurance -- even cardio -- was negatively effected. YMMV.

I was on CLX, and I have left it after a month. You could check out my blog if you want to read my various reviews of the program over the month, and why I left it.

I've been doing the rotation as written and dropped a pound or two - but I vary so much at this point in life,I'm not spartan on diet anymore, eat well, but prolly too much! I LOVE the program, the intervals and burns are effective when I work the intensity - didn't lose any cardio endurance when I tried out my first spring jog(thank you God, spring has come to VA!),and I saw new cuts in my arms.....

I'm really spoiled by the length of them...so, for the money, it was well worth it to me! Kathryn does it too -but she's awesome - she really cranks the weights up, so she likely is seeing awesome progress!

It was OK, but was really bothering my back, and for me it was not enough work. I switched to STS this week, have done disk 1 and 3 so far and like it soooooo much better. I may go back to CLX at some point, because it was an auto accident that messed the back up, and I think I just need time before I do those type of moves with heavy weights.

I will say this, I did some of the more important 1RM exercise to test for STS, and I am really strong, so CLX seems to have increase some strength, but I still feel flabby....

I posted in that other thread... disappointing not many are reporting in with much results. It's great to get stronger, but it would of been nice to know this program can make you ripped or lose weight.. If you are lifting heavy enough, you'd have to gain some muscle on this program, wouldn't you? The combination moves cant be stopping muscle growth that much.

I'm till on the fence with the program... I haven't seen any miracle results either. Even though my diet isn't perfect, it's been alot better than it was and I've been tracking what I eat. The workouts are hard, but I also find it hard to keep good form with some of the moves. I like they are short and are working lower/upper at the same time and I can add cardio if I wanted to.

I've been thinking of selling it off while it's still hot and putting the money towards STS, people are reporting results already with Meso 1...

Morning Star, I just printed your quote out, the one by Tom Venturo, thank you! Very motivating for me right now..

There are a lot of people posting positive results at the yaya's and at VF. I love, love, love CLX and feel as great about it as I felt about Cathe's workouts when I first discovered Cathe. I finished the first two phases (Burn & Push) and did my first Lean circuit tonight. I can say that I've increased my weights/reps from first to last in each phase. Pants that had gotten too tight are fitting better. I feel strong, have energy, and look forward to my workouts. The length is MINT and I feel completely worked. I used a weighted vest and a BB for Push to go heavy on lower body. I feel my lower body has not suffered b/c it is worked so often. Since doing CLX, I've traded for several Turbo Jams and I do at least one or two Turbo Jams a week for extra cardio as well (sometimes I do other cardio but Turbo Jam has been a staple of my extra cardio as of late). The results for me are that I'm following the rotation and I'm motivated to follow the rotation when I had been in a total workout/rotation rut before. I've tracked my weights reps and I've gotten stronger in each phase. I look forward to working out and haven't even thought about quitting or not completing the entire rotation. My pants fit better and if I'd get my eating under control I know I'd see more visible results (but that goes as a given no matter what program you decide to follow). This program has been my absolute BEST fitness purchase in a long, long time if not ever (it's right up there with Cathe as far as I'm concerned but keep in mind Chalene and CLX is completely different from anything Cathe has produced including personality, clothing choice, etc.). I appreciate the variety and right now STS no longer even tempts me because I'm so satisfied with CLX. If you really want to hear a variety of opnions/results you may do well to read on other forums to make a more informed decision.

Loving CXT

I have to say that the fun factor is high with CXT. I have almost all of Cathe's workouts and my DH is in the midst of STS right now. After I received STS I just thought that aside from a few good looking men that they were like some of her other workouts....and I just needed a break from the serious/intense nature of them. Don't get me wrong I really appreciate Cathe, but sometimes I wish the workouts would lighten up a bit in spirit and time commitment. Also, I a big kickbox fan and not a step fan so I find myself gravitating to other workouts for cardio or just running.
