Now, ya'll don't laugh, but I love the VH1 Celebrity Fit Club show and have dabbled with the Fat Smash diet when my eating goes awry, so I was so excited when I found their brand new web site. It is done so well!
You can customize your eating plans and even exercise plans--even if you aren't into this kind of deal, check it out.
I am going to do the Extreme Fat Smash for a month or so--my eating habits could use a little discipline right now-I am starting to "pick" more than I ever have and really need to clean it up. I wil never leave my Cathe workouts, but even the exercise plans can be revised to inlcude your Cathe workouts.Anyway, thought I would share. Oh, its www.celebrityfitclub.com.

I love Celebrity Fit Club too. The new cast looks interesting. I personally don't think a few of them need to be on the show. Da Brat, Tiffany, and "Marsha Brady" look fine to me. Kimberly could stand to lose a few pounds but I think she looks fantastic the way she is. I don't think that being thinner will look good on her. Kind of like Queen Latifah....if she lost weight, I don't think she would look as good thin as she does now. Maybe because she's been a bit bigger for so long that it's hard to imagine her any other way. Anyway, I can't wait for the new season to start.

Glad I am not the only Fit Club junkie!:) It just motivates me watching others struggle with the same stuff we all do, and I love Dr. Ian and Harvey too! It will be fun to watch and will help me stick to my guns when it comes to my diet!:)

I just saw Maureen McCormick ( Marcia Brady) on Good Morning America and she is down to about 115 pounds. I noticed immediately how much YOUNGER she looks! Apparently, she was at about 150 pounds when she began the program and lost 35 pounds. How long does the show run? Did she lose all that weight while on the show? What is the diet like and what are their workouts like? I have never watched the show so I am full of questions.

dmd:)

The new season starts on the 22nd-VH1 a cable station airs it.
It centers around Dr. Ian Smith's Fat Smash Diet plan.
This plan is a 4 step process, the first phase being the 9 day detox--you eat just fruits, veggies, tofu, brown rice...no coffee, sugar, processed foods, etc...
Then the next phase is the same but inlcudes proteins like chicken breast. The next two phases gradually introduce more normal types of food, but teach moderation. It is actually a healthy eating plan.
The exercise portion is Harvey's deal, he is a captain or drill sergeant in the Marines and he puts the members through the paces.
Each member does different things, depending on their motivation, health and fitness levels.
The show basically takes celebrities who have packed on the pounds and puts them on the diet and exercise program and along with the weekly weigh-ins on the show records the whole process.
It is actually more inspiring than cheesy! I really enjoy watching, like I said it motivates me to do my very best!:7
