Just finished!!!
I'm drenched!:D:D:D

Michele,
I was thinking of you and your family during my workout.
Many (((hugs)))!

Just finished, soaked and hungry!! This one always makes me hungry! Luckily, by the time I'm done in the shower, it'll be near lunchtime.

Michele, thinking of you. Hoping things settle down and your path starts to take and easier, less stressful route. {{{HUGS}}}

Nan

I wasn't able to do mine this morning. Bummer! We were called to watch our friend's children overnight due to an emergency. I will do my CCPP for Michele tomorrow!!! I was still thinking and praying for you today Michele ;)

Woo Hoo!! That was a blast:D I got in 13.5 miles and 594 calories burned on my elliptical. Loved the challenge too!

{{{Michele}}}- I hope you felt the many thoughts and prayers being sent your way. Love you!!

Done! Including the extra challenge! It was a great workout. I thought of Michelle and her family and their current trials. {{{HUGS}}} to you and your family.

Carrie

DONE! I had a great workout. I just love this workout, especially the music in the last challenge. That music always gives me goosebumps! I loved the bonus challenge Michele picked.

I won't tell you how many miles I logged...I think I'm the slowest runner ever. But I did have a great workout and I was drenched in sweat when I crossed the finish line.

GREAT WORKOUT! :D:D:D Miss Lee, I thought of all of you doing my run...continued (((HUGS)))

I am clocking in at 5.79 miles. I absolutely LOVED the bonus challenge! Thanks Michele.

I had a little incident with an off-leash dog that jumped my dogs during the first challenge, resulting in a dog fight and 4 of my dogs turning on each other and I had forgotten my spray shield so it took a while to break them up  4 red zone dogs at the same time! Swell! I had to take them back home, clean and stitch them up and started all over again with only one dog.

Despite of everything it turned out to be a great workout. My best one so far :D I was thinking about all of you and the lovely Miss Lee, her DFIL and her family.

I better go and get a sign on my front door saying Animal Hospital

I'm DONE!!!
That was a great workout and felt fantastic !:D

Tammy, I bet I beat you - being the SLOWEST ! I really don't run anymore, (due to back issues) so I do most of my CC's as a walker. Today I DID add some running, but my "run" is probably everyone else's jog !!!
But still, I feel really good.

Michelle, prayers continue for you and your family ! I was thinking lots of positive thoughts for you all through the workout .

Hugs!

Becky

Chase or Be Chased, Whew!

I'm planning on doing PP tomorrow.

Michele, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh Carola, what you went through sounds awful! And to go back out after that... and start over... Wow! High fives to you!

And high fives to all of you!! I love the positive energy that CCPP brings. :)

Becky

Michele - I got the workout in FOR YOU! We had 5 9 year olds hear last night (including Halle) for her birthday...slumber party. I cleaned house all day, was beat but darn it, I got that workout in for my friend before we went out for Mexican for the last bit of Halle's birthday :) Had a great workout - split it up b/w TM, SM, and bike - mostly bike. Burned off some of the calories from yesterday and today ;) Hope you and your family are doing ok -

So sorry about your dog encounter Carola. Your post reminded me to buy some citronella spray. If you remember, my girl has been attacked twice by loose dogs. She doesn't fight back, she goes into a submissive position. I've been too afraid to go for walks.
I hope your guys are OK! Did you really have to give your dogs stitches?:(

I know Cynthia, it's horrible! This is the 3rd time this week that I run across off-leash dogs right in my neighborhood  What is wrong with people? The owner of the off-leash dog came running, got his dog and disappeared. Obviously his dog started the whole thing but my dogs were the ones who turned against each other and escalated it. I still can't believe they did what they did. Which goes back to even the best dog can turn given the right circumstances.

Yeah, I had to stitch two of them up, it's not really stitches, it's one of those plastic sticky thingies, I don't know what they are called, they use it in emergency rooms and urgent care sometimes instead of stitches.

If you want to get the citronella spray, I got mine on this website http://www.entirelypets.com/directstop.html?__utma=1.128408202.1234713392.1234713392.1234713392.1&__utmb=1&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1234713392.1.1.utmccn%3D(referral)%7Cutmcsr%3Dentirelypets.com%7Cutmcct%3D%2F%7Cutmcmd%3Dreferral&__utmv=-&__utmk=153492665 If you use the coupon code EPETS28 during checkout you'll get 10% off your entire order.

It is so sad that you are afraid to talk your dog for a walk because of irresponsible people letting their dogs run loose. I love that spray, because it doesn't hurt the other dog but it sure sends them running away. You and Gracie deserve to enjoy your walks together and not be afraid every time you go out. Geez! Some people!!!

Sorry for hijacking that thread, that wasn't about CCPP.

Great job everyone!

My heart goes out to Michele. She has been the best DDIL anyone could ask for. I did CCPP + Vol 5, Ch. 3 on Friday because I was coming down with a cold and afraid I'd be too sick to do it on Saturday! I'll tell you what...every time I do that workout, I feel so blessed. I just love hearing all the names of the fans. It gives me goosebumps. (Especially Kitty's name! I will always keep her in my heart!) Another huge challenge under my belt...I did the workout on my Elliptical. Here are my stats:

Minutes: 67
Miles: 10
Calories 1,080

I WORKED!!! And, it felt so good to know I sweated for such a great cause. We love you Michele!

And, to top it off, I did STS, disc 8! It really is A GREAT DAY! (Cyndi, I LOVE sprints!)

Good morning everyone!!

Thanks again for EVERYTHING!! You'll never know what this means to me.

I haven't had a chance to do the workout YET, but I made my playlist (including Steady State 3 from V5 right before the added challenge) and I'm going to do it on Thursday. The service for my DFIL is Tuesday and hopefully I'll be rested and ready to take it on by then. And I'll be thinking of each one of you during those challenges. ;)

So someone (or someONES) must have told Sean what was going on because I got a very sweet and thoughtful email from him. Thank you.

Tammy - *MWAH* *MWAH* *MWAH* Thank you so much for organizing this special edition Press Play Saturday. How fitting that it fell on Valentine's Day!! It gives testament to the great love and respect I felt for my DFIL.

Cynthia (Fit44) - I always need an extra large sweat towel for Press Play, especially with the added bonus!

Nan - I know just what you mean about feeling hungry after PP! This isn't a workout I like to do when weight loss is my goal. :p

Mary - I hope everything is okay with your friends!! I'm glad your computer is up and running -- I've missed you around here!! enjoy your workout. :)

Judi - You logged 13.5 miles on your elliptical!!?!?   HOLY SHEEP!! That's AWESOME!!!!! I've never gone more than 7 miles EVER! I think I need to train with you. :p :D

Carrie - I'm glad you got a great workout!! Thank you for doing it WITH the extra challenge and for the hugs! Your support means so much to me. :)

Carola!! - OMG, I feel so bad for you and your doggies!! I HATE when people don't leash their dogs . I cannot believe you took your dogs home and then went back out to finish the workout!! You're a true and fierce friend, and very dedicated, and I cannot express in words what this means to me.*MWAH*

Becky (bceogirl) - WOO HOO HOOOOO for breaking into a run!! Oh geez, I hope your back feels okay today! You probably better do a nice thorough stretch today. You take care of yourself young lady!

Cynthia (RetroFit) - You better believe I felt the energy!!! And I'm counting on it to carry me through the workout on Thursday. I'm going to read this thread again before I do it.

NUH-UH!!! Copied and pasted directly from the CC website:
Challenge 3 - (4) :30 level 3 treks (fast hill) | 1:30 recovery :p :p :p
Thank you for doing it, Cyn. You KNOW I love you. And you can pick out the next bonus challenge, K!? :D

Becky L - There is something so special and wonderful about Press Play. The positive energy that flows from it is so strong and I feel a special bond with this group. I'm so happy you're a part of it. How is your DH doing?

Shana Banana - I am truly impressed and moved by your dedication. I probably would've bagged it if I had all THAT on my plate -- AYE YI YI!! I'm DYING to check out your fabulous little home gym! What DON'T you have in there!? I'd love to try the Arc Trainer, but you can keep that little stairway to hell gadget -- lol!! :p
Please wish your DD a very Happy Birthday for me!

Debbie - I'd like to give YOU top honors in the DDIL department ;). I can't believe you managed to do the workout with a cold coming on and you still managed to log TEN miles and do STS!!! ^^^5's and I bow to your greatness!! You are SO dedicated (ALL of you are!!).

It may sound sentimental and sappy, but I love you guys. I really do. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I just finished!

I did it for the first time inside on the spin bike. It was so tough and so much fun, like always.

Whenever a challenge would get close I would say out loud, "This one's for you Michele!" And I hit those challenges hard. Michele, I hope you could feel it.

I pray you are finding peace in your loving memories of your DFIL.

Thank you for asking about my DH. He had another seizure last week at 3 in the morning. I wish we could figure out what is causing them, but it looks like we never really will. :( He was down for the count that day but he's doing so much better now.

He also had an Echocardiogram last week and the good news is that his ejection fraction is low/normal which is way better than it was a year ago when he had heart failure. His mitral valve is still leaking profusely, leading to an enlarged left side of the heart. Still, no surgeon will operate due to his lupus and low blood counts that won't come up since chemo. But his Cardiologist hopes that as he gets stronger, some surgeon will be willing to take the chance.

We've chosen to just enjoy every day and just deal with what life brings us as it comes. That's all we can do.

Thanks again for asking.

I'll praying for you and your family and will be especially thinking of you on Tuesday, with love.

There is something amazing about Press Play. And the love that it generates.

I'm thankful to be involved in this with all of you amazing people!

Oh! And Michele, I loved the bonus you chose. I'm more of a hill girl but those sprints just were perfect! Excellent choice!

Becky
