CCPP Today....how did you do??????

Tpf, that's odd. I sent my Choose Living receipt to CC, and had the download email in about 5 minutes. And that was yesterday, which was a Saturday. I was pretty impressed!

Yeah, that's what I'd hoped for, but, alas, no such luck. I guess someone has to fall through the cracks every once in a while and this time it happened to be me. :(

Tete, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with your first CC purchase. Coach Sean is actually known for his excellent customer service but like you said, every once in awhile I'm sure somebody slips through the cracks -- I'm sorry it was you.

A word of caution about iTrain; I only purchase workouts a la carte because I've read threads on multiple fitness forums about people getting screwed on their package deals, and how iTrain doesn't respond to emails. There have been complaints filed against them on the BBB website.

I like the iClimb workouts which are intended for the elliptical. I have set 1 (40 min), set 6 (20 min -- my favorite for HIIT), set 14 bootcamp, and set 17 core conditioning, which is another favorite.

Thanks, Michele.

Oh, believe me, I went the a la carte route. One, because, since it was my first workout of this type, I wasn't sure I'd even like it, and, two, I'm always a little wary of those "subscriber" type deals.

Thanks for the iTrain suggestions; I can see myself buying a few more of these.

I NEED TO MAKE A CORRECTION AND AN APOLOGY REGARDING MY CC POST!!!!

I misread the actual "12-hour" timeframe on their website as "2-hour," which caused me to expect my download a lot sooner than I should have on Saturday.

Public apologies to Sean, CC, and any Cathe fans who may have been encouraged not to purchase CC workouts because of my post. :(

Note to self: make appointment for eye-exam asap! :p

I'm skeered!!!!

No, not yet, but I will be doing it (trying to do it?) this week. It's all I can do to make it for 45 minutes on my elliptical, I'm not sure how I'll do with 65!!!!

I'll give feed-back as soon as I do it. (I'm sure I won't be like Nancy: "oh, la-de-da, I barely broke a sweat and afterwards I cut down a few trees and ran a marathon!!!")

I really do feel stupid reading that time wrong...and I edit and proofread for a living!!!!!

Hey, it happens to the best of us. It was really big of you to pull up this thread and apologize. Not many people would have bothered to do that.

Oh, and while I can do the whole workout (the last challenge is optional), there's NO WAY I can jump right into a full body weight workout:eek:

I got it!:D And all the rest of his cardio workouts I didn't have yet. Except vol6 by Candace...I'm scared of that one from the descriptions of it. I decided that one can wait.;) I am so excited I can participate now and see what all the joy is about with CCPP.

Okay for those who have PUMP.......did you put it on your mp3 player?? I was thinking since it's not a TM (or other machine) workout that it might be easier for me to put it on a disc and play it in the player, like I do my cathe dvds.

I haven't done it yet and just am thinking maybe the headset, wires, armband thing wouldn't work that great for this type of workout.

Any suggestions from someone who's done it ?

Thanks!

Becky

Thanks Tammy!

I have a Sansa and am looking all over for something that works with it. That's exactly what I thought would work best.......it just seems that everything is made for Ipod !

Rundiggity - nope. PP stands for Press Play. The particular CC workout we're talking about was created to raise awareness and funds for the Choose Living Foundation, and it was initially released and done by people all over the world, on the same day, same time.

That's part of the reason it's the one we all do together. I think it was created to be done as a group workout. Even though we're not all together, we're together in spirit when we do it, and it's very motivating.
