Cathe's November Rotation....Week 3

SUNDAY

Kim-I keep forgetting you're in Canada too! LOL My best friend's husband (they live across the street from me) is from Canada, but really, the only Canadian Holiday he celebrates is cracking open a Canadian Molsen! LOL

Well, it's Sunday and I'm really loving that today's a rest day. We were up late last night playing cards after our awesome dinner. The lobster was DELISH and so soft-shelled that we didn't even need to use the crackers to open them up. I stuck to my plan and had about 1/3 of my steak, my lobster, 1/2 of my sweet potato and some steamed califlower. It really made me feel IN CONTROL as I watched everybody else just gorge themselves. My boyfriend had a HUGE steak, HUGE potato and THEN his lobster. My friend's DH had his steak, then one of OUR HUGE steaks, a HUGE potato, his lobster and THEN a slice of EACH of the sweet potato pie and sweet potato pound cake that I made. I resisted all the desserts and again, just felt so empowered by it!

Today is quiet, sort of. I have to deliver some artwork entries from our school at 1, then we're having my Grandmom's 94th BDay celebration at 2pm. Clean eats on tap ALL DAY LONG!

As soon as I go dry my hair, I'll be in the kitchen making Chicken Soup with Rivlets. I'll share the recipe, but it's a healthy version of chicken soup with dumplings. This recipe is brand new to me, and it reminds me of a soup my Grandmom used to make, so I'm making it in honor of her BDay today!

p.s BRING ON WEEK 4!

WEEK 3 is done!!!!!!!

Just finished Boot Camp and Ab Hits #4. I'm always fatigued my workout day #6 and look forward to the day of rest. :)

Hope you have recovered Dani! Time to get back on track and finish up week #3. Don't be afraid of Boot camp, I actually don't find it one of Cathe's harder workouts. Like she says, you can do anything for a minute!

Gayle The chicken recipe sounds yummy, please post it if you get a chance. Enjoy your well deserved rest day.

Are you guys going to have a harder time doing your workouts throught the Thanksgiving holiday??

Going to clean up for church, I guess just ds and I. DH is sick and dd is at a birthday party sleepover.
I let ds invite friends over to watch the Grey Cup ( our football championship like your SuperBowl) this evening.

Kim

Hi all:

Yes, I'm feeling much better thank you! :) and I will be doing BC or DM... can't decide yet, but one of those will certainly kick my butt and make me sweat any residual alcohol! LOL!! I do know that next week will be stressfull for me as I will be getting more into the nitty gritty of negotiations about my job offer... of course my GM will be on vacation next week, so will have to rely on some of the coaching he has given me so far! I really hate this part. I'm not a negotiator, unless with DH, then I always get what I want...

Kim, Good for you on BC/Abs! so enjoy your rest day tomorrow! you deserve it after week 3! next week is definately going to be a hard one to stay on track... Monday and Tuesday will be full work days and will be the usual routine after for workouts, wednesday has historically been a half or 3/4 work day and they let us go early for the 4 day weekend! will force myself to do the wednesday routine but might do a bit of pre-black friday shopping... I don't do well with the crouds, so I don't even think about going shopping the friday after TG... we will probably do a small non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner (just the two of us) and watch football!

Gayle: your dinner sounds so wonderful! Kudo's to you for controlling yourself and maintaining proper portion control... Control? what's that??? I still have to get the gist of it... I have tried to remove some of the worse offenders of my daily intake, so that has helped a but, but there is a lot more that I need to be doing... And I would have not been successful at all if I was the one that made the desserts and then didn't even sneak a taste! You are my Hero! Enjoy your day off as well!

Week 4 HERE WE COME!!!

Gayle, I just got the Godess kettlebell workout to. Have you tried it yet? I have reviewed it yet... Let me know what you think of it. Thanks, Kay

Ok, almost caught up!

well, I did BC as produced today! Now I can start next weeks rotation tomorrow! I am excited that this will be the last week and WE ARE GONNA MAKE IT!!! I can see the finish line, although there is a big friggin' turkey in the way!

hang in there!!!
