Cathe's newest DVDs

Cathlete
I was just looking through the new DVDs to see if I want to order them (keep in mind I've been on "the bench" since August). First, I'm obviously not in good enough shape for them YET...but wow - it seems they're all really long. Do you all have time to do these?

My day starts at 5:00 a.m. I work full time, go to the tae kwon do school 4 days a week (twice on two days because my class is at a different time than my daughter's, except Family Class night on Wednesdays), have to walk the dog so she doesn't get mad and eliminate on the floor, take my daughter to swim class one night, and will be starting agility classes for the dog on Saturday.

I know I'm not the only one with a busy schedule. But I just can barely fit in an hour for exercise. How are you all doing it????

I agree Donna... they are too long for me as well. I like 45=50 minutes. I have all 5 and have not done any of them yet. I was in the middle of P90x when I received the new fixed ones.. After P90x, I really decided I like heavy lifting and just don't see liking the new workouts.. I know a lot of people love them, and maybe once I kick my butt and use them I may too!

p.s where are you taking Agility. I have one title on one of my dogs. (I think you are not far from where I live)

Definitely look into the premixes.
While I've done LIC and Cardio Fusion in their entirety, I still haven't done BMax2 or Butts and Guts or Drill Max 'as-is.'

I usually do BMax2 as lower body and cardio one day (about an hour) followed by the double upper body premix the next day (about 50 minutes?). I've also done the "Bootcamp" premix, which is about an hour, and very fun.

For Butts and Guts, I usually just do the "Butts" portion ( and do core/abs another day). It's also possible to do the standing lower body portion (with warm-up and cool-down) as a workout.

For Drill Max, I've done a lower body premix, which was also about an hour long.

The chapter points, and therefore the premix break points, are very well done in this series (back to SNM's high quality standards, after the very bad chapter/premix points in the Hardcore series) so the premixes flow very smoothly.

And the longer, 'as-is,' workout will always be there for days when you do have the time (like weekends, perhaps?).
