Cathe's Low Impact Step?

Cathlete
Hello everyone,

I am coming off of an ankle sprain and will be cleared to try step again in the next couple of weeks---would Cathe's newer low impact step workout (in the Target set) be a good way to slowly get back into step until I am ready for more impact and difficult choreography? Any input for those of you who have this workout would be appreciated! TIA!

It does have some dancy moves like mambo-cha cha-pivot turns which could re-twist your ankle. And you do those triples around the step too. Her Basic Step would be better and that is also in the Target set. I think that is a great deal by the way. I sprained my ankle a few months ago and was surprised how fast I could resume stepping without aggravating it, but I was careful on the turns. Low Impact Step is really fun with a lot of choreography that is easy to follow but not boring at all. So you would enjoy it even after your ankle heals up.

Thanks, Beth! Is the Basic Step the one that also has Body Fusion on it? If so, I already have that one so that would be good news! I am glad to hear you did so well after your ankle sprain. It is so frustrating. I have just about had it with the exercise bike and elliptical trainer! Sounds like the Low Impact Step workout would be good to also get me back into shape once I can do the moves again as well! Thanks again, Thea
