Cathe Workouts to Enhance Horseback Riding

Hello, Fellow Cathletes!

Advice/opinions sought from any horse folk out there regarding which specific Cathe workouts you believe have demonstratively improved your horseback riding skills through greater balance, strength, and/or stamina, etc. Has anyone tailored a rotation or routine strictly for this purpose?

exercise-lover, agreed! A strong core makes all the difference. Other than her Ab Circuits, does Cathe have Pilates based routines on any of her other DVDs, do you know?
 
Most of her more recent workouts do more CORE moves, rather than simply AB work. To me, that's what needs to be strengthened. Her earlier ones were more endless crunches, but the later ones have more extended leg work, plank work, back work, bike maneuvers, things like that. Some of her workouts have standing core in them too. For example, I did the KB workout from ICE yesterday and added Core 1. My core felt worked! As you know, riding demands a strong core for effectiveness and safety. They may not say "Pilates based" like in Ab Circuits, but I think you'll find more effective core work in her more recent series. Hope that helps.
