Cathe - what program to you suggest for hubby?

Cathe, thanks for all your answers in the past! My husband wants to start lifting. He is in shape, not overweight at all, just wants to build upper body a little. I have P/S, MIS, power hour and circuit max. He loves to walk and that is what he does for cardio.

What strength program would you suggest for him? Should he get Slow and heavy? Also, what weights would you suggest he start with?

Hi Bebob! I think he will be fine using the PS series. He will have to experiment the first time through the series to see which weights challenge him for each of the exercises. He should find a weight that allows him to complete the reps(or at least up until the last two)with quite a challenge. Have him write down what weights he used for quick reference in future workouts. Thanks Cathe! I have up to 15lbs - I'll have him start with what we have now and then buy higher if need be! Who knows, maybe we could work out together in the evening after our son is in bed!
