Cathe - step height question

Hi Cathe,

Recently I have been using more of an 8 inch step height on various workouts to kick up the intensity. Does this increase in height have that much bearing on the intensity level and calories burned? Also, will this added height create a bulkier leg? I am 5'6", so I am watchful of the added knee pressure, but that doesn't seem to be an issue.

Hi Conni,

Not Cathe, but I have also been using 8" for most of my step workouts now and I definitely notice an increase in intensity and calories burned. With the new series, I consistently burn over 500 calories on these workouts. I haven't really noticed any more bulk in my legs but I also haven't been doing any weighted leg work either.
