Cathe on FitFluential Radio Show

This was interesting - thank you for sharing. I like how the interviewer was fan-girling over Cathe. Are there other interviews from Cathe or the cast on how they got started or even into Cathe's videos? I would like to hear Chris's story also.

I think it is interesting how big of a following Cathe has without doing infomercials. I had never heard of her in my early years of exercise (maybe 15 years worth). Then I quit my gym and wanted to workout at home. I recalled getting catalogues from Collage Video and looked for them online. They didn't offer the catalogues anymore, but did have a forum. Someone on the forum recommended Imax3 and Gym Styles...wish I knew who it was - I would thank them for life! After I bought those workouts, I bought more Cathe...and then more...then finally just bought every single one of her workouts. I can't believe I had never heard of Cathe prior.

Even now when I recommend home workouts, no one has heard of her. I try to spread by word of mouth every chance I get. I really wish I did her workouts from the beginning. I think of all the "wasted" and hated time just running on the treadmill bored out of my mind. With minimal, if any, results.

So glad she went to a workout class with her friend's mom that first time!

Thanks so much for sharing! I found it just fabulous to listen to. I agree, it was so refreshing to hear another fan's praises for Cathe and sharing them with so many people that aren't familiar with her.

I, myself, especially need to take heed and apply Cathe's advice about allowing myself to rest and recover from my workouts. That, in itself, is the hardest part for me about working out! She just makes it so gosh darn fun to workout and I find it hard to rest like I should, LOL!

Thanks so much for sharing this. It was a great interview. Cathe is truly one of the best in the field, IMO. :) She's so inspiring!!

That is one thing I really liked about the Road Trips is having that time where she'll talk to the group and we get to ask questions.

I would love it if Cathe gave others the opportunity to teach her workouts. I know I would be signing up for that. :p

A few years ago, Cathe mention on the OF she had German parents. Cathe and I (I am German) were chatting back and forth in German:D She is fluent in German! BTW, Friedrich is so German!!!

:) :) cathe's German side comes up sometime when she's pumping and sweating with us. Which is just perfect for me ;-) ;-) it makes it difficult to argue she's quite REAL, to say the least :p :p :-D lol

Thanks so much, Nathalie, for the link to the Petra Kolber interview. Definitely worth the time to listen to. Loved Cathe's many tips on how to move out of one's comfort zone into the next phase. So applicable to many aspects of life, not just fitness. She and Petra are great examples of tenacity, curiosity and creativity. Definitely inspirational.

Thank you bayerngirl and nckfitheart2009 for posting these Cathe podcasts.:)

They are so worth the time to sit down and listen to:D. The great thing in each of these interviews is that Cathe continues to show how vibrant, enthusiastic and passionate she is (you can definitely hear her love for what she does) even when she tells her story repeatedly.
Go Cathe!
