Cathe - how much advanced cardio?

Hi Cathe! I just received a bunch of your videos, and am so excited about all the cardio! In the interest of not injuring myself, though, I was wondering how much advanced Cathe cardio I can do in one week and not risk injury? I have been doing MIC and MegaStepBlast each week, with some Firm, but would like to replace all Firm with the new videos. I now have the CTX series, Interval Max, STep Works, Circuit Max, and Body Max (and several all strength vids). Thanks!!!
 
As with any kind of training, you need to respectfully build up your strength and endurance. The general guideline is no more than 2 anaerobic/interval workouts per week, and monitor yourself for overtraining--and give yourself a rest if you see the signs of overtraining, or need a break. Depending upon your general body mechanics--your gait, how you hold yourself (posture, etc), the technique you use in everything you do, previous injuries--you can, eventually, build up to more often than 2x a week. It's very important to monitor your technique, allow yourself to gradually adapt to higher workloads, and allow yourself adequate rest.

I've known a couple people recently who started exercise programs with great enthusiasm, and are siderailed for months now due to injuries from doing too much too soon. Let your body adapt in its in own time, and it will give you much in return.
