Cathe - Height of High Step during Hover squats?

Ok I may have been asking this question on the wrong boards for the past couple of days.

Cathe I'm 5'2" pushing it

I ordered the 14" High Step. Would that height be good for those hover squats?
I'd really like to know before I get The High Step just in case I should order more risers so I get them together.

Hi Shywolf! Since you don't actually sit down for a hover squat you will be fine with a 14 inch step height. If you were going to do a Sit n Stand (from past videos) with a 14 inch platform, I would suggest going up to 16 inches in height. I am 5'2" also, and I find that if I SIT on a 14 inch step height, my hips drop lower than parallel to the floor, which is not recommended.
