Hi Tina! I don't make it a point to train this way unless it would be necessary for a specific marathon or cardio based event. Even then I would do a light level of muscle endurance work to keep my muscles stimulated and working optimally.
The combination of weight lifting (either heavy or light weight) along with cardio activities has been proven to be the most efficient way to lose weight, inches, and overall body fat. Doing just one over the other will slow down your progress.
