Yes, eventually you get very used to seeing yourself on film and you don't even notice things that might normally stand out to you the way they would when you watch a family home video. It really just becomes straightforward business because you are editing for hours/days/weeks and looking at everything from soup to nuts to make sure it all flows together seamlessly.
