Hi Cathe,

I know you are entirely busy but I'm having surgery on Wednesday and will not be able to workout for approximately 3 weeks. I was wondering if you could (at anytime before I start working out again ;) develop a rotation (of any length... longer than a month to get it all in would be fine) that would get me back into a routine AND then to to the next level. I know it would be great motivation to get me back into working out after sinus/septum surgery.

In case you can help me out, here is some background information so you have an idea of goals and where I'm at now. I've been working out on and off for 5 years (to mostly tae bo and then recently the firm and now thank god... I found you!). I was 250 lbs but lost 100 lbs over the past 2 years and have maintained that within a 30 lb range. I just started working out really consistently again in February and am back to 150 lbs. I've been working out 5/6 days a week with one sculpting day, 3-4 cardio and 2-3 circuit (i'd always tag cardio onto the sculpting day and sometimes short cardio to the circuit to get it all in). However my goal now is to loose these last 20-25 lbs (or if replaced by muscle.. the inches) and firm up (not that I can do anything about the extra skin.. but atleast the extra fat!!)... I'm starting to see slight definition in my abs, my biceps are doing well and my waist/chest/bust is shrinking continuously... of course I don't see such great progress in my legs/butt.. (i use either 15lb dumbells or 34lb barbell for most heavy lower body work... 3-8 for most circuit days).

I'm very confused on the best rotations for losing fat/toning up.. and I'm getting the feeling that heavying up is bulking me up rather than slimming me down, or it just needs more time to show real results... I'm short at 5'4 so I'm thinking maybe heavy weights isn't the way to go??! I'm confused...obviously LOL. Anyway, anything you can devise to help blast the fat and firm up, would be a true gift for after my recovery. I have most of your videos (I'll be ordering the two I don't have -- terminator and the new advnaced with the pre-order when I get paid on the 15th) However I would not say I'm yet comfortable with all of them.. I acquired most of them in a short period of time, so I'm still working on "getting" them but love it to death. I don't think I'm quite advanced but I would say intermediate.. Bootcamp scares the beejezus out of me as does IMAX2... but I love CTX, Step Blast and Cardio and Weights.. those I'm pretty good at so far.. and the Body Fusion/High Step Circuit I'm good with.. the rest I'm working on so bring it on!!! LOL :) So I should have them all when I start working out again.

I'm sorry this is soooooo long and really appreciate you taking the time to read it. I promise not to start anything until the dr. gives the ok! :)

Best,
Susan

PS I live in Brooklyn... I'll be visiting the studios in the fall... :)

Oh and do you have an extra leg in the 3rd combo of step blast??! I think you must ;)... I'll get it....it has become a mission!!! :)
