Good Morning everyone!

I see a few didn't exercise yesterday and I didn't exercise today as planned. My body is sore from this weeks worth of exercises with Cathe. I need another rest day. I stretch ALL DAY LONG with these muscles :) I should be getting some Turbo Jams Cardio within the next week or so. I can't wait to break up the routine. I need to do cardio 5 days a week so I will probably do 3 days step and 2 days non-step (TJ or Cathe Kickbox)

Have a good day!

Where is everybody?

Kim-I know what you mean about breaking it up. But now, I have so many awesome choices I have to get more focused. I just got powerstrike 3 and yeah that will be added in somewhere.

The stretch workout didn't happen yesterday. I went to BJ's (wholesale club) with mother and we just had to go up and down almost every isle. I was tired when I got home from our 2-hour browse/buy session.

Today was turbo jam-cardio party.

Powerstrike tomorrow! I'm excited

There's not that many messages in a day, do you think we should go back to a weekly check in? I think it was a little busy the first post, but has since died down.

I have been trying some fun new intermediate workouts through Netflix-try before you buy. Here are some reviews:
1-Balance Ball for Weight Loss-silly title. This is really a beginners pilates on the ball with some yoga like moves and stretches thrown in. Its very relaxing but not very challenging (except for doing bridge on the ball-like those awful pyramid lower body hamstring raises.) After doing it I felt really relaxed and stretched out, but you won't lose any weight or get much abdominal toning here if you are used to Cathe's ab workouts.
2-Denise Austen Power Zone metabolism workout-this turned out harder than I thought. You use a dynaband for the whole thing. It was really kinda fun. Its 24 minutes of cardio (kind of 4 limbed like the firm) and then 25 minutes of upper body/lower body, then 10 minutes of PIlates. I was pretty drenched in sweat when I was done.
(I can't WAIT till my HRM arrives so I can see how many calories I burn comparatively in these workouts!)
3-Prevention 3-2-1 circuit-really fun and another sweat drencher. Its 3 minutes of cardio (floor aerobics), 2 minutes of weights and 1 minute of core work (mostly Pilates style.) This is repeated about 7 times for about 45 minutes of exercise. This is a great intermediate circuit, easier than High Step Intermediate becuase there's no step or high step involved. I was sore the next day. That's a good thing.

Hello Everyone,

Well lets see I have 31 DVD's (6 Cathe, 13 WHFN, 5 Leslie Sansone & 7 misc), 23 VHS (17 Cathe, 1 Leslie Sansone & 4 Fitprime). I just recently bought from Ya Yas Swap 3 Turbo Jam (Learn & Burn, Cardio Party 1 & Cardio Party 2). When I get the Turbos I am going to mix them with Cathe. I can't wait to get them. I watch the infomercial on TV every Saturday morning like it's a movie:D I went to Walmart to look for a Heart Rate Monitor but I didn't see any. I will have to check another store maybe next week.

If everyone wants to go back to a weekly check-in let us know. That is fine with me. If so, we can start back on Sunday. What does everyone think about this?

I took yesterday off!! EEEKKK!!!

Today was KPC...I did it twice to work off the pizza from last night (see cheat day thread)...I feel GREAT!!!

Holy Cow! You gals have awesome workout collections.

One thread for the week where we can post on it daily sounds fine to me.

I like the one thread per week idea too.
I've been on a non-Cathe binge this week. Today was Firm Cardio Sculpt with Allie Del Rio. It was challenging but I wish there was more cardio in it. It did kind of remind me of High Step Challenge, it is really fun, but hard. I have Firm Body Sculpt with Jen Carmine ordered on Netflix to come Monday and all the comments on it appear that it is a killer. I may try Ab Sculpt too, becuase if I like all three I can order them as a set cheaper. Like I need to keep buying more DVD's! I still have a lot of old Firms I'm not using. I need to dig them out. I just like new stuff!!!

Lori-awesome workout collection, yes. awesome workout body, sadly no :(

Beth-I use netflix too. If I want it I try to find it on deepdiscountdvd or walmart. I kept pushing prevention 3-2-1 down in favor of other movies. Is it good?

Kimberly-I tried to find a heart rate monitor at walmart too, was not successful. I ended up ordering off the net.

No workout for me today. Not intentional though. I started off to make a quick run to catch a early am sale at strawbridges, then got held up at a relatives house. Well, I didn't get home until after 8pm from being out at 8:30am. Thoroughly tired now. Sadly, this evening was my first real meal too. I have to come up with a plan as I have to cook desserts for thanksgiving dinner consisting of cookies, cakes, pies. This goodies will be in my home-pray for me!

Hello everyone,

I didn't exercise this morning either. My new exercise schedule actually starts on Monday. I need to make sure that I stick completely to my schedule next week being Thanksgiving.
