I'm very frustrated. I began working out with weights and aerobics six years ago. I've done a few rotations of Body For Life and I've been working out with your DVD's for over a year. I guess you could say with all the craziness in my life I have averaged four workouts per week pretty regularly. I love exercise. I have loved getting stronger and feeling better.
However, my achilles heel has always been food. That is a continuing problem. I'm still at 30% body fat but that is still down from 40% six years ago.
I did a metabolic analysis and it said that my BMR was only 1420!
I would think that after all the muscle building work I have done that I would be burning calories at a higher rate?
It would be so helpful to hear some suggestions from you on what plan of attack I could take to
1. raise my metabolism
2. know how long it takes to see an improvement
3. help me find where I have been going wrong.
Thank you soooo much!
