Cathe after P90X

I finished the 3-month P90X program about a month ago and am back to doing Cathe.

I thought Cathe's Muscle Max would be so easy after the P90X, but I am wrong.

Anybody else feel that the pace is too fast in P90X (you know... the max rotations instead of lifting slower with Cathe). I think I may get a better workout with Cathe because slower reps are harder and the pace isn't so frantic.

What do you think?

I love Cathe but the P90X classic rotation kicked my ass just the same and I got awesome results! I don't think it has to be one or the other and I would be happy that Cathe's work outs are still a challenge after completing the X instead of assuming it's because the X isn't a quality program. (sorry for the run-on sentence there! LOL) It IS different but it's still an excellent program.

JMHO! :)

Odd. I thought that P90X had a slower pace than most of Cathe's workouts, some of which (like the Pyramids) feel like 'hurry, hurry!'

I had a hard time getting back into Cathe after P90X because I much prefer P90X's circuit-style set up, and it's less of an endurance style workout than many of Cathe's workouts.

I think that going to a different program after doing a few months with one type of program will always feel more difficult. Your body just gets used to how you were working, and now you are working a bit differently.
