Tried this today, I think I liked it.........the cardio portion started out at a really high intensity but then kind of dropped & plateaued after the first 15 minutes or so.

Wasn't crazy about the ab portion. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if I feel it, but nothing to write home about.

Thank you for posting.I haven't got around to doing it yet.It is in my huge pile of to do's.I am looking forward to trying a male instuctor that is advanced -there are so few.
Cheers

Hi,

I got this and did it Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised. I think that it will take a few times to get the moves down so that I am really engaging the core, squeezing the glutes, etc. I probably could have worn my weighted gloved and gotten a better workout. I did some plyo drills before I started, so my heartrate was already up a little and I think that helped to increase the intensity of the dvd just a little.

I thought that the seated core exercises were a little choppy, but I think that once you learn the moves you can just go ahead and get started and add extra reps. I especially liked the plank with the tubing.

Overall, I think that it will be a good addition to a rotation. Some of his moves were new and different and hopefully will help me to learn to engage my core in a slightly differnt way. He's fairly motivating and his core sure is tight, so I'm hoping that he does what he teaches! I've found that you just can't keep doing the same thing over and over.
