Yes! Anything that improves the cardiovascular system is going to make for healthier capillaries, which is going to help maintain the health of the retina! This is especially true for macular degeneration and glaucoma as well. This is why diabetes is so detrimental to the eye, actually. Diabetics have poor capillaries that leak blood and proteins into the retina causing hypoxia, neovascularization (formation of new, unwanted blood vessels) and scarring. This is also why diabetics have trouble with their kidneys and feet, poor capillary function. Keep that cardio going ladies!
